The next few months seem to fly by in a flurry of wedding planning and Asgardian duties. You frequently travel between Asgard and the compound to help Carol with the wedding.

Loki and you have grown much closer as well as much more mischievous. On one particular trip to the compound, you were traveling alone when Loki manipulated the BiFrost. He caused you to land in a frozen tundra realm on your face. You could hear his laughter echo through the BiFrost before you landed in a soft pile of snow wearing only your short-sleeved, thin Asgardian attire.

"Loki!!" You shiver, screaming, "Bring me back right NOW!"

He left you there only a few moments before transporting you back. The smug smile on his face would have infuriated you if not for the massive mound of snow you had hidden behind your back. You quickly used your powers to secure his arms to his sides before running to him and shoving the snowball down the front of his trousers.

"Y/N!" He yelled in frustration, "Undo my arms, now! I order yo..."

"I'm sorry," you interrupt, laughing, "Aren't you a Frost Giant? Shouldn't you be used to the cold?"

He glared at you as Heimdal's laughter bellowed throughout the BiFrost room. You grinned, kissing his cheek before stepping onto the BiFrost Heimdal opened for you. You allow the BiFrost to put some space between you and Loki before undoing his arms and watching him fumble to remove the snow from his trousers.

Life at the compound seemed to have slowed down as everyone settled into a mostly peaceful life. This was for all, except Carol- who was busy planning a wedding and visiting other realms and galaxies trying to maintain peace.

You land just outside the compound before you are squeezed tightly by an older Tony, "Hey, kid."

You smile, hugging him tightly, "Hi, TonTon. Is she here?"

He nods toward the compound, "Morgan, Pepper, Nat, and Wanda are about to drive her crazy." He gives you a gentle, fatherly shove, "Better hurry, momma."

You quickly make your way up to her room and knock. "Surprise," you mimic Loki's voice before the door is quickly pulled open and you are yanked inside.

"Aunt Y/N!" Morgan squeals. She's gotten so big, you have trouble comprehending the passage of time here on Earth compared to Asgard.

The rest of the girls wrap you in a hug. Carol hugs you last and clings to you a little longer. "I'm so glad you're here, Mom," she whispers quietly in your ear. You pull back and wipe the tear streaming down her face.

"I'm here, baby," you reassure her, "Now, did you pick up the dress?"

She nods and runs to the closet, pulling it out, "I didn't want to try it on without you being here." She is beaming. You can't stop the small tear that quickly escapes your face as you think of Bucky.

You help her get into her dress and stand back, grinning. She is so beautiful and grown up. You could not be more proud of the woman she has become. You know she will always be your baby, but it is almost time for you to let her go. You are sure that Loki is going to struggle just as much as you are.

In the next few weeks leading up to the wedding, Loki and Fandral spend a lot of time together while you and the girls finish up with the small details. Odin has released you and Loki to return to the compound whenever needed. He, himself, is planning to attend the small ceremony at the compound to officiate for Asgard and the other realms as well.

On the day of the wedding, you awaken in your cabin outside the compound to find your bed empty. Loki and you have been staying on Earth the last few days to finish the setup for the ceremony and reception. You sit up, looking around for Loki. He's nowhere in sight. Your heart aches but are acutely aware that the ache does not belong to you. You smile a small, sad smile to yourself and utter his name silently, "Oh Lohk."
