Loki and you spend a few more weeks on Earth after Carol and Fandral's wedding while Thor and Odin went straight back to Asgard. Tony has you and Loki help the Avengers with a few missions. You can notice that many of your family members are growing older and seem to be less enthusiastic about going on missions. Tony has been sure to bring in new faces, some of them are even the children of the existing Avengers. Carol works with them whenever she is on Earth, training them, taking them on missions, helping those with powers harness them as best they can, and anything else that may come with building the next generations of Earth's protectors.

You and Loki do your best, alongside the other Avengers to help train the new recruits while Carol and Fandral celebrate their honeymoon. You have not given much thought to your own, upcoming wedding as you feel like you have not had a moment to even breathe since the Carol and Fandral's. As soon as it was over, Tony put the two of you to work helping those with powers both strengthen and harness them. You and Loki have grown into quite the team. Although, you thought Tony may kick you out of the compound after Loki used his magic to turn the entire inside of the compound blue- including Tony. This, of course, was in response to you using your magic to make him see himself as balding for the first week after Carol left.

After some time had passed, Loki and you both felt your powers began to wane from your lack of time on Asgard. Thankfully, Heimdal sent word that Odin was expecting the two of you back within the week. You sadly said goodbye to your old friends, wrapping Wanda, Nat, and Steve in a massive hug. Goodness, you loved these people. Many of the new recruits came out to see you off as well.

As they were bidding you farewell, Tony wrapped you in one final embrace, "Don't forget to invite us to the wedding," he whispered before letting you go.

Your hand falls naturally into Loki's before watching as they all wave you off before you are pulled upward through the BiFrost.

Landing in the BiFrost room causes you to stagger slightly as your feet slam against the marble floor supported by Loki. Heimdal is beaming as he looks from your face to your ring circling your left ring finger. He bows his head slightly, "Congratulations, malady. Asgard will be fortunate to have such a gracious protectress."

You smile happily and run to Heimdal who wraps you in a warm, strong embrace, "Oh, I've missed you all so much Heimdal."

He smiles and loosens his grip slightly, glancing at Loki, "As I have missed you, Lady Y/N. And congratulations to you Prince Loki. I have no doubt the two of you will cause much mischief together."

Loki nods toward Heimdal in reverence before slipping his hand into yours and hurrying you across the bridge toward the palace. He grins as he stops at Eir's small hutch in the village square, "Eir," he calls out, "Eir, I've done it!"

Eir pulls the door open, immediately yanking you both inside. The smile painted on her face is one you have never seen. She hugs you tight before releasing you but keeping a firm grasp on your hand, "Gods bless you, child for agreeing to put up with that scoundrel for the rest of your days."

"Scoundrel?!?" Loki echos, holding his chest in offense, "Why I nev..."

"Oh hush, you!" She wiggles her scrawny finger at him. Turning back to you, she examines the ring, "It looks like you finally did something right to keep this beautiful woman!" She grins up at you with a wink, letting her small, fragile hand tip your chin.

Loki rolls his eyes with a smile before the two of you exit and start back toward the palace.

The moment you arrive, you are swept up in embraces and congratulations from the many guests Odin has invited to the palace. You smile up at him from the center of the throne room, surrounded by the crowd. The grin plastered on his face is a rarity that you have become rather fond of. Frigga stands next to him, her graceful hands folded in front of her while her face shines brighter than you've seen in a long time. You also see Jane beaming from beside the throne but catch no glimpse of Thor.
