Ice Ice Baby part 1

Is was the next day and everything seemed normal. Both teams were in the cafeteria eating breakfast. Anne Maria was putting a shit ton of hair spray and Jo and Brick were eating competitively. The spoon got stuck and Jo punched it out of him. The spoon hitting Mike on the forehead.

Mike: (gasp)"Darn kids! Back in my day, we ate with our hands like decent folk".

I stared at him.

"you're joking right"

Mike gasps for air again.

Jo:" lose the old man impression, it offends my sense of victory. But your Russian gymnast, Svetlana, how do you summon such strength and precision"?

Mike:" I, uh, rehearse a lot in front of my mirror. Da"!

A rat was at the end of our table.

Cameron:" Look! A cute little apodemus sylvaticus"!

Cameron went to go touch it but it's eyes turned green and started to float. We all screamed at that horrid sight and ran out of the cafeteria.

Chris over PA:" Attention, players. Please head directly to the looming tragedy that is Mount Looming Tragedy. Your race begins... Now"!

Jo:" Maggots, ho"!

Both teams run to the destinated challenge area.

Sam:"Did we win"?

Cameron:" Owwww... "

Cameron throws up in a bush.

Jo:" If we were hamsters, I would've eaten you by now".

Chris whistles calling our attention.

Chris:" Okay, mutant food, on with the challenge. Part one is an up hill battle. You have to climb all the way up to that cliff. First team to reach the top guess advantage and part two. You can climb with your hands, or use whatever you find in the pile. Don't worry, this junkyard doesn't have a dog... it has a giant mutant beetle. The guy's a bit of a hoarder. His "estate" is full of useful crude and disgusting crud. That is, if you can get near it".

Chef blows a horn to indicate the challenge starting.

Jo:" Lets hustle, Maggots"!

Our team starts climbing.

Cameron:" shirt.. So.. Heavy.. Socks weighing me down... Uh"!

"Come on Cameron, focus"!

I soon lose my grip on one of the branches causing me to scream. Mike catches my fall by lifting me up towards him.

"Thanks"

Mike:"Any time"

His face really got close to mine. For some reason I didn't want to pull away from him.

Jo:" Move it, Maggots! Parents made me a climbing wall playpen".

Brick:" impressive. I conquered the rock at a sergeant Junior boot camp. Dislocated my hip getting my obstacle course badge. Check this out"!

Brick twists his whole arm. Looked like he was in a lot of pain.

Jo:" Nice".

"Woh am impressed"

I said sarcastically.

Jo:" And when did you learn to dislocate your arm"?

Brick:" Just now".

Lightning was ahead of us and kicks a bunch of rocks down cause Mike and I to fall, landing on Cameron.

Lightning was getting close to the top but chef dropped a big piece of ice onto his head. Lightning falls onto Scott and they now are back at the bottom.

Jo:" Hey! Hey, pouf-head! Too bad they don't make spray-on style, you could use some"!

Anne Maria gets furious, she crushed her hairspray can.

Anne Maria:" What you say to me?! Oh, it is on"!

Anne Maria starts climbing and chef throws  big ice cube at her. The ice cube breaks when landing on her hair.

Anne Maria:" Hey, quit it"!

She then breaks another ice cube with her fist.

Anne Maria:" I'm coming for you, pasty"!

I get the idea to use things from the pile to help me reach the top. Mike and Cameron also gets the idea.

Jo reaches the top but it was too late. B had made an invention to bring the whole team to the top.

Chris on a jetpack:" Slow yer roll, nature's nurse, I say who wins. The Rats! Thanks to B! See how I do that better"?

Jo:" Wait a minute, I got up here first! We won"!

Brick:" We won? Yeah! AHH!"

Brick cracks his arm even more.

Chris:" First team to the top wins - that means the whole team. You're still missing some members".

Jo:" Pfft, whatever".

Anne Maria then reaches the top.

Anne Maria:" Grrr! Die, blondie"!

Anne Maria goes to punch Jo but misses only to punch brick. The punch fixed his arm but he fell off of the mountain.

Brick:" My other arm.. "!

Chris:" Who else is heading for a fall. Literally? Find out after the break"!

Brick:" I also bit my tongue"!
