Boot
We in another bullshit ass lockdown, but I'm not going to complain since I'm back in here with Drevon...with his annoying ass. Thank God we got us a lil TV in here and they ain't turn our broadcast off. That first year that Obama was elected, they had us on lockdown for two weeks. One time they cut off the broadcast system, so even though we had a TV in here, we could only watch the popcorn show. They like being petty in here.
I don't even know what happened. They just pulled me off of work detail saying it's a lockdown. But, I hope it goes by quick. But shit, we already been in here for about a week and some change. I don't understand why these nigga's keep getting into shit.
"What's your favorite movie?" Dre asks me randomly.
"Umm," I hum thinking about it. "Probably Baller Blockin'." I say with a shrug. That was the first thing that came to my head so I just said it.
"I don't think I seen that. Who in it?"
"Juvenile, BG, Turk, Lil Wayne, and Baby the main characters." I tell him.
"Why you ain't just say the Hot Boys?" He laughs a little.
"Because, bitch. I ain't think you'd know who they was since you ain't seen the movie."
"Just because I ain't seen that ghetto ass movie, don't mean I don't know who the rappers are."
"How you figure it's ghetto?" I ask with my lip curled.
"Because I know Hollywood ain't cast a bunch of New Orleans street nigga's to star in they movie." He says laughing. I ignore him. "So you like hood movies huh?"
I shrug again. "They cool. I fucks with them. You don't like hood movies?"
"Only one I seen was The Players Club and Boyz in the Hood. My t lady ain't want me to be watching all that shit."
"Shit, I grew up on hood movies. They pretty good to me. So you ain't seen Menace II Society?" I ask curiously, maybe he forgot he seen it.
"Nope," he answers quickly.
"Nigga," I say unbelieving. "Stay up Kane! Don't die!" I say copying one of my favorite parts of the movie where Kane was mimicking O Dogg and his homeboys. "We definitely having a movie marathon one day when we get out."
"You definitely going to have to show me a few whenever we get out. I'm with a cuddle up movie marathon."
"I got you." I tell him smiling a little. "It's this one part of Baller Blockin' where that nigga from The Players Club, he a cop in this one, he got them nigga's on the car, and start repeating everything his partner say." I say laughing out loud. Some parts is funny as fuck.
"Yeah, I'ma have to see it. Lil dude is funny as fuck." He laughs a little. "Like when Diamond was walking out the club and he say 'yo lil cousin's a hoe.' Boy I must have laughed my ass off." We both laugh.
"That part was funny. Or when he say, 'did you at least pinch the bitch?' Boy I was too joked out laughing at his silly ass. I wonder how many times it took for them to get it right. I know they wasn't able to keep a straight face with him and Bernie Mac in there."
"Hell yeah," we laughing our asses off. "You watch any shows?"
"Nah, not really. Every now and then I'll watch the stories with my Granny, but that was it really."
"Them stories be the shit sometimes mane."
"Man what?!" I say a lil hyped. "Victor Newman is my nigga. That nigga cold with it, and don't even try hard."
