Chapter seven: Rorys hiding spot.

3rd person POV:
Lorraine was doing laundry outside while Roger and the girls got ice cream.
"I could get used to this." Ed smiled.
"What, me doing laundry?" Lorraine smiled back
Ed wrapped his hands around Lorraine's waist "you're funny."
"No, this place. Nice, fresh country air." Ed said
Lorraine sighed. "They have such a beautiful family, don't they?"
"Yeah, that little one, April, did you see her being me pancakes?" Ed smiled
"Yeah." Lorraine chuckled. She hesitated before saying the words.
"We've gotta help them." Lorraines smile faded.
"I know. I'll start with the Chevy." Ed joked. He and Lorraine both laughed and kissed goodbye.
Lorraine turned back around and continued hanging up sheets.

The wind chime was singing.

The swing on the porch was creaking.

The wind was howling.

It was getting darker..clouds were covering the sun.
Lorraine, a little annoyed started to take down the sheets as darker clouds came flying in.
Before Lorraine could take a white sheet off, it flew off on its own, being caught by an unknown spirt standing in-front of her. The spirt then disappeared and the sheet was flown onto Carolyn and rogers window, flying away then a girl was spotted in the window.
Lorraine looked at it, wide eyed. As soon as it turned away Lorraine took off running.

Carolyn was peacefully sleeping in her bed, her hand was resting on her thigh and the other laid next to her. Then, the one laying next to her had formed bruises in the shape of a hand wrapping around it.
"Aah!" She yelled raising her head up.
She was gasping for air as the spirt stared at her from above. She didn't take her eyes off the spirt. The spirt then shot red liquid into her mouth.

Carolyn instantly woke up from that terrible "nightmare" and was gagging and gasping for air.
Mean while Lorraine ran up the stairs and shoved open the door.
"Carolyn!" Lorraine yelled, hoping for an answer
"Are you okay?!"
"Carolyn, open the door."
"Carolyn, open up!"
Lorraine heard coughing and gagging.
Without hesitation, Lorraine ran to the other door.
"Are you okay?" Lorraine asked
"Oh, I'm fine." Carolyn responded.
"I woke up just feeling a little nauseous, that's all." Carolyn smiled.
"I thought I saw ——"
"I hear roger and the girls." Carolyn cut her off.
Lorraine stood there as Carolyn walked off.

Maxine's POV:
We had so much fun! I got mint ice cream.
"Can I have some, max?" April asked
"Yea sure." I said handing her the cup of ice-cream as we got into the car.
"Thank you!" she smiled
I nodded and took it back. An hour past and we are pulling up to the house. Me and my sisters were laughing about how Christine fell right when she got her ice cream.
"Stop it! It's not funny!" Christine smiled
"Yes it is!" Nancy smiled
"Hey, guys, do you wanna play a game?" April asked
"Boring." Cindy said.
"Thank you, daddy." April yelled
"Let's go play!" April smiled
"Let's go inside." I smiled back.

As time passed, it was getting to be dark. The worst time for us. Andrea sat behind me, braiding my hair as the other girls tried to fall asleep.
"So I seen you talking to that cute boy a couple days ago." Andrea smiled
The adults looked over for a second then back to what they were doing.
"Yeah we're partners for a science project." I smiled
"What's his name?" She asked starting on the other braid.
"Miles. Miles Fairchild." I said (yes mf we're bringing that hot psychopath into here. But this is the only scene we're mentioning him. If you don't know what I'm talking about look him up. He's from the turning.)
"Not too bad of a name." Andrea said
I scoffed and laughed.
"So what's the project on? Earth layers? Insects? Mammals?" Andrea asked.
"We haven't talked about that yet. We just got partnered up." I smiled as she finished the twin braids.
"Ok. Maybe you two will become a thing" Andrea nudged my arm with her elbow
"No one is going to become a thing." My dad said.
I rolled my eyes back.
"But he's super cute! And he might like me back!" I protested.
"Did you hear that? He's super cute!" Ed smiled
I smiled and rolled my eyes.
"Yeah he totes likes me back." My dad started
"Dad!" I yelled
"Sorry." He laughed a little. Ed smiled then turned around.

All the adults gathered in the living room as me and my sisters laid on our beds near the living room. They were all tired, trying to get as much energy in as they could.
I was drifting off to finally get some sleep.

"ED! ED!" Brad yelled, waking us all up. Then Cindy got up. Sleep walking.
"Ed, Ed, we're getting something." Lorraine said. They all ran as me and my sisters started to get up.
"It's just Cindy. She's sleepwalking." My dad said
"No, no, no, no, wait, wait, wait. We need this." Ed said
"Why do we need pictures of Cindy?" My dad asked
"She didn't trigger it." Ed said, looking horrified.
"What do you mean she didn't trigger it?" My dad asked again
"Somebody's with her." Ed whispered
"Who?" My dad asked
Cindy started walking into me and Andreas room then the door slammed shut.
"Cindy!" My dad yelled then ran up the stairs to get her
Ed and my dad pushed on the door while we watched.
"Cindy!" They yelled
They finally busted the door open and looked around.
"Cindy?"
They looked everywhere. Under our bed, outside the window, under our vanity. No sign she was in here.
"Where'd she go, ed?" My dad asked
He started to go into the closet of my and Andreas.
"Ed, where'd she go?!" My dad yelled
Ed looked around the room.
"Brad, Get the uv light." Ed said, the cold air coming out of his mouth.
"The what?" Brad asked
"Just ask Drew." Ed said
Brad nodded and ran down the stairs
"Drew,  I need a uv light." Brad said
"Uh...here, that's it. Go, go, go, go!" Drew yelled
Drew came back into the room and handed Ed the uv light.
"Turn off the light." Ed demanded.
He turned on the glowing blue light and lowered it down to the floor

"It okay april. We're here." I comforted april as she sat in my lap.
She nodded and tried to fall asleep as she used my chest as a pillow.

We all stood at the door as cindy was being carried out.
April was in my arms, her head was on my shoulder and her arms were wrapped around my neck.
I stayed there as Lorraine walked up to us.
"That's where Rory hides when he's afraid." Aprils face saddened. My face turned disgusted as i wanted to put april down, but she was tired so I kept holding her. Lorraine looked at me, smiled then looked back at April staring at the closet. Her smile dropped slowly.
I set April down on the bed and sat next to her.
"Hon, can I have April's music box, please?" Lorraine asked.
Ed held his hand out for April to give it to him. She put it in his hands then gave it to Lorraine who was inside Rory's hiding spot.
"There you go." Ed said
"Thank you" Lorraine said holding a flash light.
I started to get a bad feeling in my stomach as I heard shifting.
"Aah!" Lorraine yelled as wood broke. She had fell through the wood in our closet. I immediately got up and went over to the closet
"Maxine-" my dad put an arm out to stop me.
"Stop!" I yelled ripping his arm off me.
"Lorraine!" ed yelled
"Lorraine!" I yelled too
"No!" Ed yelled
"Lorraine! Are you okay!" I yelled.
"Are you dead?" I asked quieter
"Maxine." My dad rolled his eyes in panic.
"Take your sister down stairs and go sit on your beds. Now." My dad said
I rolled my eyes and picked up April and started to go downstairs.
"Lorraine!" I heard Ed yell as me and April got closer.
"Lorraine!"
I sat april down on the bed, trying to distract her. I gave her crayons and a coloring book.

Lorraine's POV:
I  looked around me, my flash light luckily still worked. But then I heard a women- she sounded like she was crying. Then April's music box went off. I picked it up and started to turn the key. The music box was going off and I pointed the flash light behind me. I heard the women sobbing again.
"She made me do it." The women weeped, holding Rory in her hands and a bloody knife in the other
"She made me do it." The crying lady repeated.
Suddenly she stopped crying. It was silent. The music box stopped playing and it was stopped completely. Her head turned back slowly to look at me. She had black eyes. I turned around and she wasn't there. I turned back and put the music box down. Then there she was. Standing right in front of me. I gasped and threw myself back.
"She made me do it." The women grumbled.
She then turned slowly , gasping for air as rope creaked. I turned quickly to each corner. Nothing. But then I started to move from under the wood and then feet dropped infront of me. I gasped and fell backwards at the surprise. I was gasping for air but I think that I've lost it all. The lady didn't even dangle. She just paused in mid air. Then she turned around slowly.
I screamed, and crawled out as the lady on the rope came at me.
"Ed!" I yelled.

A/N: here's a good chapter for you. The other one will be out soon. I'm sorry for being so inactive because of school and sports and stress but trust me I will have this done by the end of the month.
