THE WHITE IN HER VISION DISAPPEARED AND DARKNESS CAME AS THE REPLACEMENT. The darkness of the city with the bright, illuminating streetlights filled her line of vision as she scanned the area.
The spirits weren't here yet but they sure would soon, right? Then, she started to panic.
What if they didn't come? What if they expected her to do it all by herself? They had discussed this and agreed that they would come along since she didn't know where to go around Shizuoka. What should she do if they bailed her though?
Then a gust of wind blew from behind her and pants from the spirits filled her ears.
"You weren't lying... When you said... It was a long way..." Spinner huffed, recalling how Twice was complaining about this.
"Yeah, man..." Present Mic muttered, propping his elbow on Twice's shoulder as the villain hovered numbly.
"Are you okay, L/n?" Aizawa asked.
"Y..." she looked around hesitantly and breathed out, "Yeah."
Aizawa nodded and looked around, F/n following his actions. Her eyes then caught a light border that surrounds another city with no people in sight.
"What the..." she murmured, slowly approaching the border.
The streets were empty with very few cars passing by and yet none of them passed the border. The other side looked dark and abandoned as if no one had been there for centuries.
"Musutafu," she heard Midnight mutter, causing her to turn towards the heroine.
'Musutafu...' she thought, looking back at the buildings behind the forcefield,'The city in the series.'
"A-Aizawa-sensei?" she hesitantly questioned, gaining a glance from the teacher. She gulped. "Why is it surrounded by a force field?"
Aizawa sighed. "I'm not sure. But All For One most likely did that."
She nodded. "How do people walk past it without going through the city?"
"They kind of get teleported to the other side as if there is nothing there at all," Midnight explained and F/n shaped her mouth into an 'O' shape in understanding.
"Kurogiri must be there," Mr Compress chimed in, "Somewhere in a building with the other Nomus."
"Do you know where the building is?" Aizawa asked and the villain nodded. They then turned to F/n who hesitantly shifted her gaze from the eyes of each spirit before slowly nodding her head, signalling that she was ready to follow.
