THE NIGHT WAS SILENT AND F/N WOULD'VE WONDERED IF THE SPIRITS WERE LESS TALKATIVE ONLY BECAUSE THEY WERE, WELL, SPIRITS. But, no. F/n was too busy worrying about how her parents and even her friend would react to her severe injuries.

Midnight had told her that the injuries would heal in a couple of days but she was worried that it would take longer for her since this was the first time she got an injury this bad.

There she stood, looking up at the window that led to her room. She had been going in and out of it so many times she had forgotten the previous time she had done it.

She took a deep breath and exhaled while the spirits stared at her in worry. She climbed her way up the window and she stumbled into her room, creating a small noise as she stepped on the wooden floor.

She shut her window and locked it before approaching her chair and sitting down on it with a heavy sigh. She looked at her reflection, noticing the dark purple-coloured bruise on the left side of her forehead and the dried blood from near her eye.

Scratches were visible in both her arms, face and knees from all of the running and stumbling she did. This would happen if she was in an action movie she had desired to be in. She told herself that she wouldn't be like them, crouching down dramatically.

But a bruised eye and a large scar were all that was needed to bring her down.

Pathetic.

She placed her elbows on the desk and her head on her hands as she silently scolded herself for not being able to successfully find their bodies.

She wanted to call herself a hero and yet she cannot find a group of lifeless bodies or in this case, spiritless? It was ridiculous.

She let out a frustrating groan, fighting the urge to just slam her head on the hard wooden desk. She slowly lifted herself up, got changed and laid on the bed with another sigh.

Exhaustion took over her and brought her into her dreamland.

She walked down the stairs, head hung low as she watched her steps. Her whole body felt like it was being squashed by a hundred kilograms of metal over and over again.
