Winter pulled away from the passionate looks. She had a deep blush spread across her cheeks as she shyly looked away from their little infinity. "S-sorry..." She mumbled as she shuffled her feet and wrung her hands. She was soon a bit nervous. Did she do something wrong? Did she stare to long? Maybe he didn't like her. What was she talking about? They just met!
"It's alright." Jake commented with a small smile. He saw the girl was nervous about losing her new friendship, and Jake would never do that, especially not to a girl.
What both parties didn't know was that fire and ice, though complete opposites, were meant to be together. It was bound to be destiny or fate.
He peered out a frozen window to see four teens, two girls and two boys, outside the window. Jake gave a quick nod to them, but Winter didn't notice them.
"I think I'll be heading off now, but I'll defiantly see you again." Jake grinned at Winter as she gazed up at him.
"O-oh... Ok!" She let a small smile on her lips even though she didn't want her friend to leave her. The male bobbed his head to Winter and dashed out the door. His feet lit on fire and he flew off with the people Winter never saw.
"Who was that, babe?" Questioned a female with straight, red hair.
"That's Winter, Scarlet. I've finally found her." He grinned and kissed Scarlet's cheek. Jake harbored new found feelings for Winter, but he knew he loved Scarlet. He couldn't possibly fall in love with a girl of ice, right? He was fire. Scarlet smirked gently as the five flew back to their headquarters.
Winter sat in wooden chair with ice covered legs, pondering the events that happened today. She couldn't help but to fall in love with Jake, slowly but surly. Winter didn't know what to do. She felt the cold, but it didn't bug her except the thought of him warming her up in his hug. She smiled slowly then shook her head quickly. She stood up and paced the floors then paused. She sighed and form a sculpture of Jake with her ice powers.
"What are you doing, Winter...?" She looked down and away from the ice statue. "Y-you just met him, and he has fire powers..." She sighed and broke the sculpture into millions of pieces without lifting a finger.
"I-it'll never work..."
