i think at chapter 15 the juicy/romantic parts begin, or sixteen, i haven't decided yet<3 i am SO glad you guys enjoy this story, means a lot to me.

also him liking to draw is sort of a headcanon for me.

you hoped your brother would learn to trust him considering charles, or chucky, was super sweet and caring, nothing like your brother suspects. "so, when did you first start drawing? you asked.

"when i was four, he responded calmly. "ever since, i've been drawing." that was really interesting to you.

"so you have been drawing for a long time, you smiled. he nodded proudly. "my mother used to say i could be an artist when i grew up."

"do you think that is possible?"

"maybe, now i'm not sure."

you grinned at him. "you've got the talent, chucky. all it takes is confidence." he winked. "you think so?" "yeah, of course, you smiled."i mean, look at your drawings." he chuckled. "thanks. you know, nobody has ever seen my drawings besides you."

your eyes widened in surprise. "really? why?" "never really had a friend before, chucky replied casually. "but i've got one now." you smiled."yeah, i have a real friend now, too." he grinned at you. he liked the nickname you gave him.

chucky fit him well, at least he though that. he wasn't used to being open with how he feel, he never was, not even with his own parents. but for the first time, he felt like he could trust you. in his opinion, it was weak, the weak side of him.

he was being so soft around you, and you loved that. rose was there for you, but she ended up leaving you like everyone else. "i like that you consider me your friend, he smiles. "i mean... you're really kind to me, you told him.

"you know, if you need to talk to someone, i'm here n/n, he added. you softly smiled. "thank you, chucky. same way for you." he chuckled at the nickname you'd given him. it was ridiculous, but strangely fit him.

you left his room and went in yours, just staring at the ceiling on your bed. you liked doing this, at least since your dad died. you could remember when you, danny, m/n and d/n went stargazing. m/n was pregnant with jack at the time.

d/n was so excited for a 3rd baby, he talked about it a lot, you didn't mind. after all, you were excited for a baby brother too.

"y/n, danny, look!"

you giggled, being seven years old, almost 8 years old. "whoa! daddy, look at those stars! you said, your eyes widened. d/n chuckled, so did m/n. "hey d/n, i feel him kicking, m/n smiled, and d/n felt your mother's belly.

"mommy, i want my brother to be here now! you whined. m/n softly smiled."y/n, be patient. i promise he'll be here soon, okay? just not ready to enter this world." you pouted, then turned back to the stars.

danny laughed, he was only 9, almost 10 years old. a complete, well almost complete family. in your opinion, only being 7, this was amazing and you didn't want it to end, ever. you yawned. d/n chuckled."someone is tired, huh?

you shook your head, pouting. "no daddy, i want to stay awake forever!" d/n chuckled again, along with m/n. "y/n, honey, we have to go now, m/n laughed, standing up and caressing her belly.

you crossed your arms stubbornly before d/n picked you up. "not a chance n/n, d/n laughed, tickling you as you laughed too.  you laughed. "daddy, that tickles!" everyone got into the car, heading back home.

you enjoyed this, a lot. never wanting it to end.

you opened your eyes again, on the verge of tears after thinking of that memory, it was so clear in your mind even though you were so young at the time. of course it stuck, your father was alive and it was during your mother's 3rd pregnancy.

"you okay? chucky asked. you nodded. "just need some space right now." "oh okay, he softly smiled."i respect that." he left, which you were thankful for. right now, you truly did just need some space.

reminder of your father was too much for you. it was extremely difficult. you were only 11 when he died and jack was 3, the anniversary of his death was coming up. that might be why you were thinking of d/n a lot recently.

you sighed, turning on your side, realizing how tired you were. so, you naturally fell asleep.

you didn't even realize you had fallen asleep for so long when you woke up to danny shaking you awake. "danny... you groaned. "y/n, it's dinnertime, he told you. you rubbed your eyes as you got up.

you came downstairs, and aunt janie chuckled."someone was sleepy?" you laugh and nod."i really was." "i understand, she told you sympathetically. "hope you like the dinner." you liked it a lot, aunt janie was a good cook.

"thank you, aunt janie."

"of course y/n."

she gave you a sympathetic smile, and you gave one in return. you loved her  a lot, but you knew that whenever she looked at you, you reminded her of your father too much, her brother. same h/c, e/c, s/c, etc.

you felt horrible, because she was still mourning like you too, you felt it. of course she would never tell you, but you knew. you would never bring it up, either. you still remembered the day she found out.

m/n told you that janie was crying for five weeks total, after all, she lost her only sibling, d/n. you sighed.

i miss you, dad, you thought, even though that did nothing. you plastered a fake smile as you continued eating dinner, eddie telling a strange story, again. you listened to it anyways, just to be nice.

that was how you were, sweeter than honey.

you yawned, settling into bed, you were glad that you didn't have to write to rose every night, your hands cramped so much after writing. you fell asleep pretty quickly.

what a peaceful evening.
