Mcs bloodline has that laughing condition that the joker has. They laugh in the most serious situations.
Mc laughs during private lessons because she's nervous. Has managed to simmer it down during normal activities, unlike her dad. He would be reading while standing by the window and suddenly laugh. That's what reveals it to the reader. When harry and hermi and ron visit her house as an untouchable zone.
Mc has to patiently wait for her father's laughter to die down before asking him anything.
