The rest of the day was chiller than usual. They hung out, sort of. Started binging more shows, and George could swear him and Dream were spooning at some point. But there was a lot of uncomfortable moving and trying to find the spot that felt most comfortable. George did think it's weird how closely together they were sitting, but stuff happens.
"I'm so tired." George wailed laying on the couch. It wasn't even evening yet. "Take a nap, stop crying." Dream obviously found his cry's for help annoying, but it was in Georges nature to bother people with his small type of problems.
George sat up. "But I don't want to sleep. I just don't feel well." He watched Dream, who was just walking around with his phone in his hand. "That's what you get for drinking too much." "But I bet you enjoyed me being drunk." George quickly looked at Dream, to see his reaction to these stupid words.
"Don't say that, it sounds like I would've raped you." Dream looked away from George again. Georges face still tried showing the disgust from the sentence. "Is there anything specific you want from the store?" Dream asked, still watching his phone and probably making a list.
"Uhm, I don't think so." George laid down again, his voice still full of restlessness. "Then I'm leaving. Don't do anything stupid." He finally looked away from the screen and practically sprinted to the door. Dream walks really fastly.
He was out the door in a second. George was now alone, cause Sapnap was too obedient to disrespect Dreams rules. But maybe not today.
He walked down the stairs towards George, without saying a word he pulled George to his room. "Hi." Sapnap whispered out of breath. "Hi?" George was confused of what was happening.
"Has Dream done anything bad to you recently?" George watched his too much knowing face, quite scared somehow. But Sapnap couldn't know of anything, or maybe this was one of those movie moves where he's trying to see if George would come clean of his crimes.
His sight glued on the windows. "I don't think so, yesterday he made me sing, but that's it." Sapnap watched him carefully. "That's good, I'm glad. Wish I could say the same, but he's trying to protect you I guess." Georges eyebrows lifted at the sentence.
What was that supposed to mean. Dream protecting him? "What?" George asked, starting to feel the fear once again. Fear of Dream being an actual monster. "Nothing, George. I don't know what I just said." Sapnap was smiling, looking quite happy.
But still, it sounded almost like clues. "And has Dream done anything bad to you?" Now it was almost anger, almost, but still, he knew that he's not strong enough to be mad at Dream. It could all end up in a dangerous situation.
"Um, well, tiny bit. But not enough to be worried." And right then from the one single unnoticeable break in his voice, it was clear that Dream had done zero change. "Holy shit, what is he doing to you?" George was almost yelling, slightly too much.
"George! Stop! It could end badly, I can't tell you stuff he doesn't want you to know!" Sapnap was radiating off hate, not towards George, towards how badly he felt.
All they did was stand there. George would definitely feel better knowing what Dream is doing to Sapnap, but maybe he could stop him. Dream falls for Georges charm so easily, it would be a crime not to use it for more than just cooking him breakfast.
"Alright, don't tell me." George sounded so bitchy, maybe he felt bad about it, but probably not. Couldn't understand what he was feeling then.
After an hour, a full hour, Dream was back. George had calmed down hugely, but he still didn't know what Dream was doing to Sapnap. It could be beating, yelling, maybe something else, but these two were the only ones George was thinking about.
It's bad either way. And Dream was causing it all. "Hello, George!" Dream had two huge shopping bags, full of food for George. Not just him, but also him, and food felt very comforting right now.
"Hello." George sounded annoyed. Dream gave him a look of confusion for that, then got back to putting food where it's supposed to be.
George watched him, trying not to look so aggressive, but it was hard, Dream was putting up a mask towards George. Acting like a sweet, cute savior.
"What's up, why're you watching me like that." George himself didn't even notice how flared his whole face was. "Ignore that, I just want to eat." Dream threw him something that George guiltily ate.
George didn't think, his brain stopped working properly, and he had to let the anger out, he had to get the darkness out. He's not used to having it there for so long.
"What the fuck are you doing to Sapnap?" He had decided on charming Dream into not touching Sapnap, but now it was all impossible, he dug himself a grave right then.
Dream looked at him with anger spilling out of his eyes, he obviously tried thinking of what could George have just possibly said, cause that couldn't have been it.
"What?" Dream asked turning his whole attention to George, making him shrink down in his spot. Last resort, making Dream feel sorry for him.
Dream took a step towards George. "You talked to that fucker, didn't you?!" Dream was yelling again, George hoped that they were past this hate.
"You're hurting him?" George wasn't yelling back, that could only lead to murder, so instead he quietly, with the hurt visible in his words, asked Dream. "Hardly! It's just discipline so he would... Be nice about me to you. He should've known that he's not allowed to tell you anything." Dream sounded annoyed, hurt, disappointed, all the bad emotions.
George huffed. "He didn't tell me, I just understood from his words. That's not normal, Dream. Sapnap is our best friend." Georges eyes were getting glossy.
"Just shut the fuck up, we'll talk about this later! Go to your fucking room!" Dream went in the kitchen and hit the counter, scaring George so much, that he almost died right there on the spot.
