Readers P.O.V

"L-leaving?" You choke, stepping out of your boyfriends embrace. You could already feel the tears clouding your vision. You and Kaneki had been through thick and thin. And now he was leaving. This had happened before to you, but that's a whole different story containing a certain blue haired ghoul.

"(Y-n)..." He takes a step closer to you as you take a step back, "I don't want to hurt you, I know that for some reason I'm not attracted to your flesh, but I can't take that risk especially since your human," he explains as he steps forward and takes you in his arms.

You stiffen, "your leaving because I'm human," you could practically see the venom coming off your voice. It was Kaneki's turn to stiffen. He slowly as brushes some of your (h/c) hair out of your eyes as he smiled at you, relaxing.

"No, I'm leaving because I don't wanna hurt you, you mean the world to me, (y/n)," he whispered as he tighten his embrace on you.

"Then d-don't l-leave me," you suddenly cry out, sobs rocking your body. Kaneki was staring at you, tears threatening to fall from his grey eyes now. Every time he saw a tear fall from your perfect (e/c) eyes a piece of him broke.

"(Y-yn)," he whispered as his thumb wiped away your tears, "don't cry, you always look prettier when you smile," kaneki tried to comfort you, but tears continued to fall. You loved him, he loved you, and now he was leaving, even though you need him in this messed up world of yours.

You had knew him before he was a ghoul, well half ghoul, and you slowly saw him floating further away from you. after a ghoul had attacked him and well, then turned into him today. Through the couple of months after the accident and him telling you what really happened, he was always in his own world whenever you came back from work or from seeing friends. He was always thinking, but you never thought this would happen.

"I love you," you whisper, your tears now under control. You felt a pair of lips on your head, and smiled slightly as Kaneki kissed your cheek as well.

"Come on," he said, taking you hand and leading you to your shared bedroom. He carefully tucked you both it as he pressed your head against his muscular chest, his chin resting onto of your head. You signed out of pleasure as his black locks tickled your forehead. You would always remember this moment.

As you felt darkness consume you, you heard a whisper, "I love you too, (y/n).......(y/n).......(y/n)?....... (Y/N)!"

"Huh?" You flutter your eyes open, sunlight pouring into your room as a purple haired ghoul stood over you, "touka?" You questioned as you sat up, rubbing your (e/c) eyes and run a hand through your (h/c) locks, "what's wrong?"
