Gaia growled "any last words demigod?". Percy smirked, " uhh yea, YOU THOUGHT bitch". he raised riptide to stab her but she simply knocked it away. " I admire your spirit but you are quite stupid, you knew that was never going to work" "They don't call me seaweed brain for no reason" he mutters. "well goodbye, sea spawn" she smiled a sickly sweet smile. "Yes, goodbye to you," he says. He gathered enough energy from stalling her to vapour travel onto her back. He grabbed riptide from his pocket, uncapped it and stabs Gaia in her heart. he falls from her back onto the floor. Gaia looks at him with shock. her eyes flickering from black to a mud brown. She grabbed him. Percy was about to judo flip her until her next actions. She pulled him into a hug whispering thank you over and over. She pulled back. "Th-that wa-s my ev-il side, my dar-k si-de. Than-k you. She stutters out "y-your welcome" Percy responds still in shock. She places her hand on Percy's chest and he glows forest green and brown, he screams. "wh-what did you do to me". She smiles, not an evil smile a warm smile, though it comes out strained as she has a sword sticking out of her. "I g-gave you my fu-ll Bles-sing. you have pow-ers over earth li-ke me. Use it w-well hero th-though I woul-dn't tell anyo-ne yet. Goo-dbye hero". Her body turns to sand as she goes into a deep sleep.

Percy turned to the cheering campers and raises his sword. "The War is over"! he shouted. He looked toward Annabeth to see her smiling.

"THE WAR IS OVER"! The campers cheer. " WE SHALL PARTY FOR THE WIN AND BURN SHROUDS FOR THE DEAD" a random camper shouts. The Rest Cheer again even louder. but all Percy could think was.

"The war is over".

3rd person POV

A few months have passed since the war. The campers have rebuilt the destroyed parts of the camp. They built shrouds for all the campers that died. They went into the war with 70 greek demigods, 16 hunters 57 nature spirits 31 amazons 100 Romans and they came out with 40 greek demigods 12 hunters 23 nature spirits 22 amazons, and 56 Romans. the 121 warriors that survived partied and mourned for months. The Olympians were not any better most of them got over their children's death's already which Percy did not like but chose not to bring it up, but the worst of all was that they were very weak, weak to the point of almost a minor god.

Today will be the award ceremony where all the demigods will be given gifts for helping in the war. some demigods were ecstatic, while others were still mourning their brothers and sister or their best friends.

All the demigods were flashed to Olympus by Hermes. When they arrived there were multiple gasps. Barely any demigods have ever been on Olympus. They were admiring the architecture and statues while some were looking at the gods in shock and looking at the minor gods, while others were whispering away when the gods cleared their throats. The campers bowed to the gods and Zeus boomed.

"Campers we have won the war against Gaia, but we probably wouldn't have won without y-". he gets interrupted when Hera elbows him. "-Okay we most likely would have lost the war without you". And so we the gods have decided to reward you as a thank you".

"Campers of Camp Jupiter, Camp Half-blood, and the Amazon, We offer you all the gift of partial immortality like the hunter of Artemis except the head counsellors. and Hylla" Said, Hermes. To say they were shocked would be an understatement. they never thought they would ever get a gift as they were grateful for the party much less a gift as great as partial immortality. after a few minutes, they snapped out of their shock and nodded afraid their mouths would betray them in the process. All the gods were happy they accepted and Zeus shot them all with a golden ball. After a few moments, the gold light cleared and the campers all looked the same but felt different, they felt healthier.
