Chapter 30

So I opened the passenger's door and I got in.

Ashton: Hey petite.

____: Hello.

Ashton: I'm so glad you changed your mind.

____: Is that I really needed to clear my mind now.

Ashton: So let's go.

The car started rollling, and we talked about topics like what movie should we watch, at what time should I be in my house and stuff like that until we got to the the cinema's parking lot. I could smell the popcorn and butter already. We got off and headed inside.

We stayed for a while watching trying to find what movie to choose and ginally we decided to watch a comedy one, there weren't good options. Ashton bought two tickets and afterwqards we went to buy the popcorn with soda.

We had everything we needed and we got inside the movie theater. The movie wasn't that bad, but I got to clear my mind. Ashton and I laughed. We made fun of some people that had fallen asleep.. It was very enjoyable.

When the movie ended, we got out and Ashton wanted to go to the toilet, so I sat on a piece of furniture that they had there. I took out my phone to see what time it was and there was like half an hour for my mom to arrive. We were in time.

Then I see a bin with magazines and I decide to take one and I started flippind through it. It was a celebrity magazine for adolescents.. News about Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and more. I didn't pay much attention I just kept flipping through it and reading just the headers. Until I get to a page with 5 lads on it.

On top it said 'The Wanted' that for vocabulary means someone the police is looking for. I found it weird that in a teens' magazine appear people searched by the police. So I started reading the names and ages that were written on top of each one and their faces.. Who know, maybe I know someone?

Then I see that one has on top of it 'Max George, 21' he was tall and bald. Next to him there was one that had 'Tom Parker, 21' he had brownish hair and he was a bit tall. To his right 'Siva Kaneswaran, 20' who was brunette and had a seem like perfect geometric face. Then another 'Jay McGuiness, 18' who had curly hair. And finally one named 'Nathan Sykes, 16'. I couldn't pay close attention to his face because the page was a bit wrinkled. Then Ashton comes out.

Ashton: Can we go?

____: Yes.. - and I dropped the magazine where it was.

I was thinking in what I've seen once again, the name of whom I loved with all my being. 'Nathan'. I suppose that he must have an amazing laugh just like my Nathan. But his last name sounded like if I had heard it before, Honestly I don't remember so well the last name of th Nathan that I 'know'. But I do know that he was one year older than me just like the one in the magazine.

While I was thinking, I got into the car.

____: Ashton, do you know what's Nathan's last name?

Ashton: Wasn't tonight for you to clear your mind?

____: Yes, but that question just came to mind.

Ashton: Well, I don't remember that well but it was with S.. Sekys, Skyes..

____: Sykes?

Ashton: But if you knew it, why di you ask me?

____: Is that one then?!

Ashton: Yes.

I couldn't believe it.. What if they are the same? Is that possible? No! There should be millions of Nathans in the whole wide world.. but how many would've had the surname Sykes? There shouldn't be so much coincidence.

Ashton asked me if I liked the movie, and that we should do this more often, etc. and I replied.

Honestly I had spent a great evening with him. I haven't thought of my mom that much, until now when she comes back to my head. We still have 20 minutes for her to arrive. I thought we were on time, but to ruin things we were stuck in traffic. There were hundreds of cars beeping, and we spent 10 minutes in the same place. So I decided to go walking, since that it wasn't that far from my house.

Ashton didn't want to leave me alone, he was a gentleman and he left girls in front of their houses, but if I didn't do it that way, mom would arrive first.

So I got off the car and headed to the sidewalk. And I walked and walked. The distance became longer and I didn't know why.
