After a month, inko Midoria was released from the hospital. They lived at the bakugos house. Inko needed time to get onto her feet. Word got put to the rest of the family about izuku on both sides. Inko and izuku were both cutt off and were now completely alone. Their families didn't want anything to do with them anymore. More specifically, izuku. Izuku learned this overtime. Once inko got a job at a coffee shop and got an apartment they thanked the bakugos and moved out.

The apartment was low income. It was on the bad side of town. The coffee shop his mom is working at was across the street. It was run down and wasn't all to pretty looking. The apartment was 1 bedroom 1 bath. It had a living room and the kitchen combined. There was a ialand in the kitchen which made it look nice dispite the bugs practically everywhere. Izuku and his mom shared the bedroom and bed until he reached 13. Then his mom let him have the room to himself and she settled in a pull out couch in the living room. It was small, smaller then his classrooms, but it worked and it was all they could afford.

The neighbors became very unpleasant. Especially when all of them were other males with biased and sexist opinions. And, drugies. Most were criminals of some sort aswel. Sence izuku was now technically 'the man of the house' he took it as his responsibility to drive those craziness away from his mother. His mom ended up buying a gun a month after they moved in. At the age of 8, izuku took the role of protector from his mother. He would be to one with the gun or bat if anyone of the druggies tryed busting through the door. He managed to become very good at it too. The cops at that side of the town were locals and they always sided with the criminals in the building then a single mom and her son. They were jackass's. The biggest one was a cop named Chang. He was the worst.

As for school, well, bullying from his friends continued. But izuku couldn't defend himself like he did at the house. Anytime he did he risked expulsion. Even if he wasn't the one who started it. His mother pleaded for him to not fight them and not get expelled. Said it would be easier for him to get a job if he graduated. So, he ran away from them or put up with it. Most of the time they caught him after a intense chase and beat him badly. The worst part was when they'd leave spider lillies on his desk. And not just a few. Dozens. Maybe even 50 sometimes. Along with the writing on his poor beaten up desk. You do not know how much of a hell hole school is until you meet his level of hell hole. The teachers would bully and embarrasse him too. Often getting something bad on his record no matter what he did. It felt so useless being there.

Bakugo and deku grew farther apart over the years. Izuku was met with more lonelyness then ever. He wasn't sad or sour about it though. Just... slightly disappointed. Something happened between inko and Mitsuki over time. One day they had a major blow up about something izuku still has no idea off and they cutt contact. It was sad. Especially sence the bakugos were there only allies then. Now they were completely isolated and alone.

Izuku befriended a neighbor that moved in a few years back. He was an older Mexican man. He was like a grandpa to izuku and a dad to inko. His name was Jesus. He was old but man he knew how to play alpha. Under a week the whole building was afraid and respected him. Izuku would help him out with assholes too but most of the time Jesus had it handled himself. Izuku and inko would have dinner with him every night. He was a very blunt and hilarious old guy. And MANNNN did officer chang hate him. It was awesome.

Izuku never gave up on his dreams of becoming a hero. He just had to help his family first. Like a base to a tower. Jesus believed he had the most potential he ever met that was perfect for a hero. Izuku always felt glad he believed in him. It was very nice.

As for izuku himself, he wasn't doing all that great. The black hole in his stomach never went away. His arms wrapped around his stomach so much they almost seemed glued. He was more anxious over the years and more alert thanks to those asshole neighbors. Not that anyone in school cared.
