Izuku didn't say a word. Not one. Inko thanked everyone briefly before aksing them politely to leave. They all quickly agreed. They were gone now. Now, izuku sat in the chair while his mother was in the other, and his father and a blonde woman sat across from them on the couch.
Izuku felt angry. Very angry. But also... curious, confused, hopeful, disgusted, and beyond sad. Depressed even. Looking at that man... his father... was... depressing. Izuku didn't know what to say and didn't want to speak first. He just sat there blank faced while staring daggers at the two strangers. He had his arms around his stomach like usual but now... now the pain doubled, tripled, and quadrupled 10x in every second. He felt like he was going to explode. This was too much. His mother could have atleast notified him or talked about it first before inviting the dead beat here.
No one spoke for a long time. They all just sat there uneasy. Unsure. The tension izuku was making alone would have everyone by the throat. But inko and Hisashi had tension aswel. Everyone was nervous.
Inko coughed. The sound pieced the air like a knife. "Izuku.. i know i didn't talk to you about this first but... i think it would be.... beneficial... for us to... rekindle some old contacts before the... ahem... yeah."
Hisashi looked at her confused. The blonde next to him looked back and forth between the two. She two was very confused.
Izuku, not breaking eye contact with Hisashi, pointed at the blonde to ask who she was. He quickly picked up on it.
"This is Eve. She's my girlfriend. Eve. Meet my son. And his mother."
Eve looked shocked. She seemed to finally see the resemblance between izuku and Hisashi. Hisashi had black, curly hair. Izuku had black roots that faded naturally to his mothers green hair and was just as curly as Hisashis. Both Hisashi and izuku had freckles that littered his face. She saw both parents being resembled in izuku. But now she flet awkward.
"Uh, nice to meet you izuku! I wish your father talked about you more, it would have made me a little more prepared hehehe!" Eve smiled kindly.
Izuku just kept staring. "Why would he? He put my mother in the hospital when i was diagnosed quirkless. Then left like a coward."
Eves eyes went wide with horror and shock and snapped her head to Hisashi. Her high pony tail flew by the motion, adding a lot more expression. Hisashi swallowed and repositioned.
"I'm... deeply... sorry izuku... you too inko... truly... i regret what i did... I'm sorry." Hisashi said.
"Sure you are..." izuku said sarcastically. Hisashi fell silent and hung his head slightly. His hands were intertwined and he looked more uncomfortable then on a job interview.
"Izuku. Let's not start." Inko scolded slightly. Izuku obeyed and stayed silent.
"Now then... i should talk to you about why i called you here.." inko said. She swallowed and was slightly trembling. Izuku didn't like that. He didn't like that at all.
"I am pregnant. But. I don't know if I'll be able to survive after labor based on how difficult izukus birth was."
Hisashi straightened up. So did eve. Izuku narrowed his eyes at Hisashi. He wanted to observe every bad reaction.
"I'm not asking you to pay for anything, absolutely not. I wouldn't do that. What im asking of you, Hisashi, is to take izuku in if i don't live. And the baby, if it lives, too." Inko stated.
"What!?" Izuku yelled. all eyes went to him. "How can you expect him to take care of me? He left! He'll just stick me into the system first chance he gets!"
