Lumabas na nga pala ng bahay kagabi sila Madam, Ate Brends and Sam.

That's the first thought I had this morning as I look on my left to see Anji. Katabi ko siya sa kama, nakapwesto kung saan dating humihiga si Sam.

Mag kikita naman kami agad, maybe not tonight pagka labas natin sa bahay ni Kuya, but for sure tomorrow. After almost three months, one day ko lang naman siyang di makakasama.

I woke up to someone licking my face. I knew right away that it's Louie and Blakey. I mean, sino pa ba, right?

I'm slightly awake pero nakapikit parin mga mata ko. I reached to my left expecting to hold someone's hand, only to touch a pillow. I opened my eyes and look on that empty space beside me. Louie then sat on that space, looking straight at me as if asking "What's wrong Mom?"

It's been weeks since I've been out of Kuya's house. I've seen Sam a couple of times and she was even here with me, at this house, inside this room and on this bed. The yearning to wake up every morning with her, here, beside me? Stronger, day by day.

I wasn't fully paying attention to what Ella is saying, because I noticed that my hand is placed atop hers. Not entirely holding it, just barely clinging.

Ella must have noticed because she placed her other hand on top of mine.

Ever since nag start tayo ng bubble a month ago, I've noticed tuwing umaga pagka gising nakahawak ka sa kamay ko. Yes, may times na ganito ka before, but not as often tulad ngayon.

Sa lahat ng pwede kong makasanayan bakit sa tao pa na hindi ko pwede makasama araw-araw?

Hmm, this smell seems different, different but familiar. It's like I'm back sa bahay ni Kuya.

I opened my eyes to check on Ella, but I see a face worthy of taking my breath away, every single damn time. There she is, SamanTHa Bernardow, her pouty lips, piercing eyes, cute freckles, what a gorgeous face indeed. Let me close my eyes for a bit, because for sure I am dreaming.

I feel a slight tapping on my nose, siguro ginigising na naman ako ni Ella kasi late na kami sa training. So once again I opened my eyes, still I see Sam's face, grinning wide, so I did the same.

I must be dreaming right? Then I'd rather sleep forever, than waking up everyday without you, not holding you.

Sure na ba yan? Final answer?

I'm looking at Sam's face nang biglang lumitaw ang mukha ni Ella sa likod ni Sam. Nanlaki nalang ang mga mata ko at muntik na akong mapasigaw. Parang scene sa Insidious ang nangyari ngayon ngayon lang. Napabalikwas nalang ako sa kama at pilit na pinapakalma ang sarili ko, habang tumatawa naman si Sam at Ella sa tabihan ko.
