Dheere se khinchon
Tum inn pardon ko
Ungli na fanse
Thoda sambhal ke taala lagana
Jo niklo ghar se
Keh paaunga main
Abse na tumse ye kabhi
Samjhaunga main
Kaise jaane kaise khud ko bhiFursat jo mile khudse
Tu apni khabar lena
Fursat jo mile khudse ho…Distances in two places and people are not something which are to be held responsible for distance among hearts. Even when you're distant but if the heart's know how to stay close and connected the warmth flows in. And this is what exactly what was the case with Vihaan and Naina. Several months had already passed since they got engaged and Naina went on for her training and induction in Indian Police services Academy. Vihaan had developed a habit of calling and texting her whenever he got a chance in last few months and video calls were still a luxury as he knew well how the training was going to be. He himself once had been in one of the finest of academies, the prestigious Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy. Her day's would begin around some four thirtiesh and would end late around ten or eleven with god's grace had the instructor didn't planned something to make the nights of all probationary officers more interesting. He knew the price of becoming an officer as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy was the finest of institutions with world class training amenities to produce finest of finest IPS officers. Vihaan had been meanwhile in Wellington, Karnataka with some routine work to be carried out for few months while Naina was toiling every single day in Hyderabad, Telangana. They weren't in same states but destiny was working it's might and bringing them as close as it could even if it felt like a charm being spelled.
It was a Saturday in month of January, a day off and both of them were eagerly waiting to meet each other as they had been planning to do so from weeks. It was a new year and Vihaan wanted to make Naina feel bit homely while she was staying back at academy thousands of kilometres away from her family, her home and her place of comfort her city for the first time in life. She was supposed to be away from home for more than forty two weeks in order to complete her training and knowing Naina from quite sometime, he had known one thing very clear that her people and their warmth matters a lot to her, it was her strength as well as weakness. Vihaan didn't wanted her to fall weak at all and that's why he had been asking her family to visit her whenever possible. This time he was going to meet her and was ready excited to see his woman who was in process of becoming an officer. They were some thousands kilometres apart approximately and to save time taking a direct flight was better option but since it was holidays all around he couldn't find one and had to choose to go by train. After spending some six to seven hours he reached Hyderabad and was literally feeling butterflies in his stomach. He was definitely excited to meet her but didn't know how to react on facing her.
Hasrat ki hatheli pe
Mere do pal rakh lena
Fursat ke usi pal mein
Kabhi kabhi ye keh denaHey ya, hey are you feeling okay?
Hey ya, hey are you feeling okay?Naina was up early in the morning as it was a habit now but to hold her happiness and contain the feeling like fishes squirming in a pond was something out of her reach. She was going to meet her confidant her bestest friend maybe she can say her man as he could easily fill in every single quality check box Naina once had in her mind as list. Yes that's what her heart said to her and she started fidgeting with her ring placed in left hand of her ring finger. From the day they met first to when she said yes to him and then to her wearing a ring in his name to begin a journey with him a lot has happened and a lot has changed in this short span of time. Her heart was learning to beat again for somebody and the rythm was in his name once again. She knew what it was but wasn't ready to bring it to any conclusions. They both were holding themselves back as didn't knew whether the other person is ready to go ahead and accept the feeling or not, moreover they were hanging somewhere in between personal and professional commitments . But what actually happened was that they became really good buddies who always behaved like miyan biwi when were together unknowingly and weren't even close to the realisation that they were already in a relationship even before committing to one as they didn't labelled each other at all, if that's what people called as a relationship. This was the courtship time they had for a third person not knowing the back story of there's if he/ she would have heard about them as they were engaged and were to be married immediately after Naina's training gets completed.
Vihaan had informed Naina about his arrivals and hence Naina had reached the station in time but it was after reaching the station she came to know that the train with which Vihaan was travelling is running late and will take an hour more to arrive. Naina had an hour to kill so she took out a book she was wanting to read from months but couldn't begin, luckily before stepping out she had kept that book in her handbag for some reason unknown and now it was at her rescue. The book was named "The Force Behind The Forces", and it was written by an author who happened to be an army wife as well. The book was about how the wives of defence personnel become there driving force and how they keep them and their legacy alive even when they aren't around. Naina found the title very gripping and touching, as soon she was to be an army wife she wanted to understand how the women dealt with things coming there way in life. Despite herself being a probationary IPS officer her role as wife to an army officer was going to be altogether different and she had a bit of understanding about it by now by staying in constant touch with Vihaan.
As soon as she started reading the hour went by like a minute and it was the noise of horn blown by the train on tracks that attracted attention of hers towards her wrist watch. It was time and she was on her toes. Her eyes were moist with what she had read in book and she was somehow holding back her tears while her heart was beating so fast with all kind of emotions driving it crazy. She was standing exactly at the place where his coach would be arriving but there was so much of crowd that to identify a person was impossible and with the train coming to a halt the crowd turned into a rush of walking heads to and fro. Her eyes were searching for him, and he was looking for her. He stepped down and started walking a bit and found someone coming to him with a very fast pace from a distance but with people moving in and out he couldn't make out exactly if person was coming at him only. Naina was waiting at place where coach B1 was to be but with some shuffling done at start of journey, made B3 being there and that was when she began running like a mad woman in search of him and his coach and with a frantic speed she finally spotted him and sprinted towards him. She reached him and hugged him tightly as had she not found him today she would have lost something really very precious. She stood there hugging him while passengers came and went by. Vihaan was slowly moving her by dragging his feets along with her's while she remained clinging to him like a child. Few minutes had passed and Vihaan was having a very good time with him being welcomed by Naina(his love) like that. They had met quite a few times in between after getting engaged and before Naina leaving for Hyderabad but being hugged by Naina like this was a first of all the first's Vihaan had dreamt of and longed for. In other cases he was the one pulling her in a side hug or a proper and kissing her on forehead, to which Naina would always react like she just received an electric shock . Well that was the kind of effect this Man named Vihaan had on Naina, 'electrifying'. Vihaan after having his moment pulled her apart from his torso and saw her face and his shirt being wet.
"Hey, hey what happened to you Naina? Is everything ok? Calm down please and tell me na..you okay??",asked Vihaan who was startled by looking at her in such state.
