"(Y/N) get up!" Brains called, smacking my nose. "Mmmm, five more minutes..." I grumbled, turning on my stomach to bury my face into my pillow. "Hey! you're the one who said you were gonna help Sam today." Brains argued, but jumped down from my bed and left anyways. Groaning once again into the pillow, I got up, got my clothes and went to the bathroom. "Good morning, (Y/N)." Carly -Sam's new girlfriend- said, gently as she walked up the stairs to her and Sam's room. "Morning, Carly." I mumbled, still half asleep.

I had a week off to help Sam get a job. I had gotten a job at (dream job) and had moved out so I wouldn't have such a long way to work every day, but since I lived a few hours away from Sam, we agreed that I would visit him for a week to help him with different interviews. I quickly washed my face, put on my clothes and brushed my teeth. "People don't know you saved the world, Sam." Carly said as she walked into the bathroom. I gave her a tired smile as I walked out. "I mean, I do. I believe you." She continued.

'So... Sam is grumpy for some reason.' I mentally guessed as I went to the kitchen to make myself some toast. "Yeah, I believe you too." I joked, catching Sam's glare at me, to which I just stuck my tongue out. "The government knows. I mean, they could have hooked me up with a job right here in D.C. I mean, I should be working with the Autobots, otherwise, it's not fair." He complained.

I snorted. "C'mon Sam. Aren't you asking them for a bit much?" I chipped in, putting some bread in the toaster. "C'mon, they paid for your college. The president gave you a hero medal." Carly pointed out. "And (Y/N), has a job. She isn't complaining about not working with the Autobots." Carly argumented, and I gave a thumbs up.

"And, as I recall, that wasn't even the highlight of your day." Carly pointed out with a smile. "Hehe, I remember the look on your face, Sam." I snickered, thinking back to when they first met and Sam tried to flirt with Carly.

The toaster pinged, and I quickly grabbed it, putting on some cheese before walking over to Sam and Carly. "Babe, it's hard for everybody to get a job." Carly. "I don't have time. You see, our parents are gonna be here in a week on their road trip Partybus World Tour. If our dad gets here and I don't have a job, He's gonna spank me. You know, it's go time for me. Especially since (Y/N) has a job."

"Alright, tonight, I'll give you a job." Carly said to Sam, seductively. 'And that's my cue to leave.' I thought as I turned to my heel and walked away. I didn't get too far as I heard Carly scream and complain about something. "Oh, he's gross!" She growled. I walked back to see Brains, oogling Carly. I jogged over to them, toast in my mouth as I grabbed Brains and hurried out of their sight. "I'm sorry, but they're stranded here." Sam apologized. "She's good." Brains purred, looking over my shoulder to watch Carly. I grabbed my toast, freeing my mouth. "First of all, ew. Second of all, somebody's got to watch out for them." I listed, looking back at Carly to give her an apologetic look as I sat him down on the counter. "Yesterday, that one was in my underwear drawer.", "Did research. Looking real good, too." Brains snickered as Sam walked over to us and hit him in the head. "Oh! No need to hit me, man." Brains complained. "You are not a normal boyfriend. And you're not a normal sister of said boyfriend." Carly pointed out to us. "Noted." I replied, stuffing my last piece of toast in my mouth. "That's what you love about me." Sam tried, placing Brains on a box as he called Sam a crybaby.

"We're not at the love word yet." Carly said, walking towards the door. "Maybe a little bit closer when you're covering your half of the rent." I jokingly flinched at the comment. A knock on the door took my focus away from the conversation as I saw Wheelie out in the rain with Bones, their dog. "Frickin' shorting my circuits out here!" Wheelie yelled at me as I opened the door. "Good morning to you too." I replied, rolling my eyes and moving out of the way so he could come in. "It's inhumane, what it is! Making us live in a box box on a balcony right next to a beast! Like a common animal!" He kept complaining, standing out in the rain. "Hey! It's not my house, not my rules." I shrugged, walking to the couch. "Stop, okay?" Sam snapped. "You and your creepy sidekick, you can't be in here without permission." Sam explained, holding the door for Wheelie. "According to who? Miss Blondie Blonde?" Wheelie got onto Bones' back and commanded him to go inside, like some cowboy. Lightly smacking Bones behind the ear and making a whipping sound, he got off of him and jumped over to the couch where you and Brains were sitting.
