Its been a few weeks since Nate and I have last seen Sam. I miss him more with each passing day. Nate ran into my room with a letter in his hand

"Sky!! I got a letter!!! Its from Sam!! For the both of us!!!" He jumps excitedly waving the letter in my face. I smile and snatch it from him ripping it open. I read over it running my fingertips over his handwriting. I smile at Nate.

"Tonight. Pack a bag. He's coming back tonight!" I hug Nate tight as we laugh with glee. He ran out of my room to pack in anticipation. I grabbed my old bookbag that I took everywhere. I smiled throwing my clothes in along with a notebook and a few pens.

It was after midnight and Nate and I were anxiously waiting on the roof for his motorcycle. I heard it rev outside the front gate. I hit Nate's arm

"its him!! Sam!! lets go!"

we both jumped down off the roof and ran to the front. I jumped up first and helped Nate jump over just after me. After he had a way down, he ran to Sam.

"Sam!!!!" he said running to hug him.

"Hey little brother! keep it down, will ya? don't want any unnecessary attention, especially from Father Duffy" he laughed hugging Nate. He finally let go and his eyes met with mine

"Hey you, long time no see, huh?" he smiled. I laughed and looked at him

"Yeah you could say that. So? what's our first adventure?" I smiled anxiously

"Oh.. uhm.. could I just talk to Nate for a second?" he asked almost embarrassed. I nodded and let them be

"Nate, did you tell her she was coming? I cant support her, I can barely support the two of us as it is, brother."

"Oh well, I just assumed she was." Nate turned red embarrassed by his mistake.

"Just hop on the bike. I've got a lead about some of Mom's old journals."

With that last statement, Sam and Nate sped off on the bike. I shouted for them to stop but it was no use. "Maybe they'll come back... yeah... they wouldn't leave me..." I reassured myself.

After a while I sat down on the sidewalk. a few tears left my eyes scared that they abandoned me. After the first hour I was still convinced they were coming back. By the time hour four rolled around I made up my mind. "Fuck them.. who needs them.. I'll survive on my own.." I grabbed my bookbag and walked out onto the streets trying to come up with a solution. "I'm on my own now.."
