"You look gorgeous..." nagulat ako nang magnakaw nanaman ng halik si Blagden sa pisngi ko.
Pabiro ko siyang pinalo sa balikat making him laugh. He opened the car door for me and I was about to hopped in. We are going to the mall to choose for my dress for the party after our graduation tomorrow. Mabuti nga at maaga kami pinauwi ngayon, para makapagready kami.
I will choose my gown for the party that our parents will have. Oo nga pala, I faced him while he's busy driving his car out of the garage.
"Are you going to choose for your suit too?" I asked.
He glanced at me and back to the road again. "No. My secretary will have it delivered at our house." he answered.
Napatango tango ako. "Okay. Are you the one choosing the design of your tux?"
He shook his head. "I'm busy so I let my assistants or my secretary choose. Why?"
Magsasalita na sana ako. "My secretary is a male, by the way." he said with matching teasing voice.
Umirap ako. "Ano naman sa akin?" mataray kong sagot.
He let out a chuckle. "Nothing. It's just that.... you're makin a 'face' while I'm mentioning my secretary. So, I assume that you're jealous."
Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. Pasalamat siya, maganda mood ko ngayon kundi nasapak ko nanaman siya. "Bakit naman ako magseselos, Aber?"
Nalukot yung nang aasar niyang mukha. "Who the fuck is Aber?" hindi maitago yung pagseselos sa boses niya. Natawa ako, o'diba? Na-reverse card agad.
Napatawa ako. "It's a Filipino Expression." tawang tawa kong sagot.
Kunot pa rin yung mukha niyang napatingin sa akin dahil tumatawa ako. "You sure?" he ask.
Umirap ako. "Duh? Expression nga 'yon!"
Nag kibit balikat nalang siya saka nag focus na sa pagmamaneho. I'm busy playing games sa phone ko. Minsan is tumitingin siya sa akin and then sa ginagawa ko sa phone ko. Sometimes, if he's not using his other hand, he'll reach and play with my hand making me blush. Hihi.
"SM City? Bakit hindi sa mall mo?" tanong ko habang naghahanap siya ng pagpaparkehan.
He shrugged. "Baka hindi na nila tayo pagbayarin kapag doon pa tayo bumili." sabi niya. Bubuksan niya na sana yung pinto sa side niya but napatigil siya at tumingin sa akin. "Do you like 'Aber'?"
I wrinkled my nose. "The expression? Well, I kinda like using it now." I answered.
Nagulat ako nang humarap siya sa akin, lumapit at nagnakaw nanaman ng halik. He smirked. "I'll change my name to Aber, then." he said, jokingly. He even winked before stepping out of the car, leaving me dumbfounded.
Talaga naman 'tong Aber Stevensons na ito. Charot.
He suddenly pulled my waist habang naglalakad kami sa may entrance ng wall. Kahit lagi niya 'tong ginagawa sa school, kinikilig pa rin ako.
