Chapter 2

Hanlim High School slowly get filled with students. Its already 7am and you just arrive after walking alone as usual for 30 minutes from your house. You hate it when you are already sweating before the school even startc but you have no choice since you still dont have any money to take a bus. Your step sister, Lena already arrive early because her mother send her and not even ask if you want to go together. Lena is not in the class with you but she always be in your class because 2 of her girl group members are in your class which always annoy you because they always so noise, talking, laughing and gossipping all the time.

You both ignore each other when you walk past her to your seat at the back of your class. Quickly you put down your bag and lay down your head on the table. You shut your eyes, trying to get some rest before the teacher come in. Its not even half of the day yet and you already feel tired. Sigh. After a few minutes, you hear the bell is ringing and you saw Lena walk out from your class. You take out your chemistry book and start to focus on what the topic. After half an hour of class, someone knock the door and step in followed by a boy with pink hair. Whole class start to whisper and make a noise. Your teacher still talking with that person and the boy just stand still doing nothing. You take a look the boys properly. You know him. You feel familiar with his face. But who is he? Then your teacher end up their discussion after 10 mins by shaking hands with that person. The person tap the boy shoulder before heading out leaving the boy.

'Introduce yourself? Even i know whole class already know who you are,'

He bowed before introduce himself, 'Hi.. my name is Kim Yugyeom. I hope we are all can be friends. Lets be friends and i hope all of you will treat me like a normal students. Thank you,' He ends with his charming smile.

'Okay then. You can seat beside Yoomi at the back if you dont mind? There will not be any scandal news later right?'

He laughs, 'Yea sure. No worries,'

While smiling, he walks towards you and take a seat beside you. He bowed to you before take out his chemistry book and the class continue as usual.

You still in your unbelieveable world. Kim Yugyeom is sitting next to you. You are attending the same school as Kim Yugyeom. Kim Yugyeom is actually your classmate now. You cant concentrate at all for the whole class. You cant even take a look at him. You feel so awkward, so nervous and so shy. You know you look terribly messy and you dont want yugyeom to see you like that. How could this happen? Isnt this only happen in drama? You still dont believe it. At all.

10 minutes more for chemistry class to end when yugyeom suddenly poke your shoulder.

'Um?' You try to avoid making an eye contact with him.

'So is it ok?' He ask.

'Uh? Ok what?' You ask him back.

'The project. Is it ok?'

You look at him, questioning what he ask you. But damn he is so good looking even without make up.

'Excuse me?' Yugyeom try to get your attention.

'Uh? What? What again?'

'Are you ok?'

'Um? Yea i'm fine. But what you said just now? What project?' With all the courage you have, you ask him for more explaination.

'The project teacher just gave us. We have to do some experiment in and find the solution and make a report. So we pair up. Is it ok?'

You try as hard as you could to focus and understand what he said.

'Oh really? Ohh are you okay with that?' You ask him back but then you realize the never ending question between both of you.

'Yea i'm ok with it. Instead i feel sorry for you i might not be able to go to school often though,'

'Its alright. We can figure that out later,' You decide and trying to give him the sweetest smile of yours.

He nods and smile before stand up and leave the class. You know he is also feel the awkwardness between both of you. After all, Yugyoem is known as the most shy members among girls. It doesnt feel real at all. You fought so hard to get their first fanmeeting ticket and you got the ticket and now you are in the same classroom with one of the member and even you end up pair with him for school project.

School end for that day. You and yugyeom didnt talk much because both of you still awkward. But before he go back, he did wave and smile at you which make your heart feel like its going to burst out because of the sudden happiness that you receive. Your mind start drawing a delusional imagination. Sometimes you laugh at your own imagination. Sometimes you smile. You reach your home, enter the house, not even care about the others who are having a dinner and didnt invite you, you just walk straight away to your room after greet them.

After taking a shower, you turn on your got7 playlist and start dancing to the songs accordingly. Its 9pm when you realize you should stop playing around and do your homework. But after all, your mind still on yugyeom. You still cant believe the sudden situation and that makes you take 2 hours to complete your work that supposely can take only half an hour.

You wake up the next day with the thought of you will meet yugyeom again. Your mood is really good until you bump into Lena in the living room who is waiting for her mother to send her to school.

'Happy?' She asked you.

'What do you want?' You really dont want to mess up with her because you know how you will end up.

'Stay away from gyeom,' Lena said, straight away.

'What do you mean?' You still ask for explaination.

'Isnt it clear? I know you and him are partner for the chemistry project. Do whatever you can, i dont care, as long as you didnt pair up with him,'

You look at Lena with the most disgusting look. Its such a waste talking with her so you decide to leave and ignore her warning. You heard Lena shout your name couple of times when you walk out from the house but you dont even bother to react.

You arrive at school earlier than usual. You double check yourself in the mirror for couple of times before the class start. But then only a few minutes left before the school start, yugyeom still didnt appear. You know that he's not going to come that day. He must be very busy. You know got7 is very busy for the time being. They keep on having an oversea fanmeeting and promotion in Japan as well. Not to mention filming for their variety. This is what he means by the chemistry project. After all, you still hope he can at least contribute a bit to the project before the deadline.

That day past by as usual. During break you have to deal with Lena and her group who follow her around and ask her to not be close with yugyeom. Lena even tell you that she will tell your dad about it and you dont care about it at all. After school end, you decide to do some research about the chemistry project experiment. At least you know what to do and you can explain it to yugyeom and both of you can just continue. The details are already there. You study for 2 hours and realize that it is already dark outside. After saying goodbye to the librarian, you walk back home alone. You feel so hungry all of sudden and walk quickly to reach home as fast as you could.

No one at home and it makes you feel so happy. You drop your school bag on the couch and search some foods in the kitchen. You decide to cook cheese ramen since it is easy and fast. Your stomach keep on growling and your hands are also shaking. You are totally starving!
