Chapter 15

You just stay in your room after listened to your dad's nag about you been working and fall sick and makes everyone worried. You don't know if you should feel sorry for him because you are not really sure if he really worried about you. Your stepmother, Hanjin and Lena just watch you being scolded silently, act like they agree to your dad.

You really hope you are at the café right now, with Jimin and Yerin at least. Exactly after that thought, your phone rings and Jackson's messages appear.

'Where are you? Are you okay?'

'I'm at home. And yea, I'm fine. Thank you for asking,'

'You should have told me. I went to the café and Ken told me about what happen to you,'

'I'm sorry. But it's nothing serious. Don't worry I'm fine now,'

'Glad you are. So want to go out for dinner?'

'That sounds so nice! Who else?'

'You can ask Jimin and Yerin if they are free. Bambam and Mark are here with me,'

'Okay then where should we meet?'

'I will fetch you at home,'

'No. Its okay you don't have to,'

'Just wait for me. I will fetch you. See you later!'

You take a deep breath. The idea that Jackson want to fetch you at home is not a good idea at all. You know the others are at home and you don't want them to see him especially Lena. You don't want to cause any more trouble. But seems like you have no choice other than just agree to it. So you just call Jimin and tell her about the plan and they agree to accompany you.

You wait for like almost half an hour until Jackson call you and said that he is already outside with Bambam and Mark. You just walk silently, ignoring all four of them at the living room and step outside to see all three of them are laughing and play around. Mark brings his skateboard and immediately stop laughing when he sees you.

'Hye boys,' you smile at three of them.

'You good?' Bambam ask and you just give a small wink to him instead of answer his question.

'Lets go before they find out,' you said and let Mark lead the way. He's trying to control his skateboard for moving too fast down the hill and sometimes, Jackson or Bambam will run after him trying to catch up.

'Who are they?' Jackson ask after a while walking. Mark and Bambam already infront, still teasing each other.

'The one at home,' you smile.

'Your family?'

You didn't answer him and chase after Mark and Bambam instead and leave Jackson alone. Then he has no choice but to run after you and join all three of you. Jimin and Yerin already wait at the ramen restaurant. You immediately hug both of them and take a place between them.

'I thought your dad will never let you go out,' Yerin said.

'Well, I didn't ask for his permission,' you answer her. Yerin and Jimin understand what they should do at the moment and immediately call the waiter to take orders.

That morning, your dad arrive with your stepmother at the hospital. Jimin and Yerin were there with you in the room when your dad arrive. He didn't smile and immediately ask both of them to leave the room. But you whisper to Jimin to just stay outside. You don't know if you can handle whatever your dad want to say to you at that time alone. Your stepmother just stared at you and you can really feel her hatred towards you.

'I told you to not go to work. Now what are you going to explain to me?' you dad ask.

You stay silent. As usual, not saying anything is always the best choice.
