Chapter 6

Goodluck! See you later!'

You keep reading Yugyeom's text this morning. At last he text you, revealing his number and kakaotalk id. You know he must have been thinking a lot before texting you. You gain your courage after receiving the text and when you bump into Lena at the living room before going to class, you don't even feel annoyed when she reminds you again about this is the last time for you to be together with Yugyeom. As usual, you walk alone to school and didn't take the bus. You feel good walking now, breathing nice air, early morning. You feel calm and relax before facing the chaos and crowded surrounding at school.

Yugyeom already at his place when you enter the class, watching some girls surround him and sit at your place. You see Yugyeom try hard to treat the girls nicely and you feel a bit jealous.

'Ehem,' you want to acknowledge them your existence.

The girl who sits at your place quickly get up and you immediately sit down.
'If you girls don't mind, I want to discuss about our project,' you try to make them understand.

One by one of the girls leave your place. You can see some of them leave while cursing and give you a hatred glare but you don't really care since you face it everyday.

'Thanks,' Yugyeom said while looking at you.

'For what?'

"For saving me from them. Its awkward actually, I don't really know how to face fans alone like this. I hope bambam is here, hes always good with fans,'
You laugh. 'You should learn from Bambam. Where is he?'
'He's out discussing with Yerin and Jimin. They said they need to calm down,'

You laugh again. 'You guys are so cute actually,'

'Excuse me?' You look at Yugyeom.

'Oh nothing,' You realize you shouldn't say that.

'Are you okay?' you ask him, trying to cover up what you have just said.

'Im just a bit nervous,'

'It's a normal school project right. It will be fun as long as we didn't end up mixing up the wrong ingredients and burn the entire lab,'

'Im afraid I will forget what to do and we end up get a low marks. Its okay with me but you....'

You look at him before take out some snacks from your bag. 'You are not on diet right?' you ask him.

'No. Whats all these for?'

'To make you calm down. It will help. Trust me,' You push some to his place and take one for you.

Yugyeom also take a bite and watch you while eating. You both smile when you look at each other some time.

Bambam comes in a few minutes after that together with Yerin and Jimin.

'Ohh foods!' He said and grab some of it and start eating.

'This really makes me feel a bit better,' Yugyeom said. 'You girls should try to,' he continues by trying to give some to Yerin and Jimin.

'No. Diet,' Jimin said and Yerin just stay quite while shaking her head.

Mr Kang comes in after that with a piece of paper. 'Okay, now it will be going like this. There will be 2 groups at once that will go in and complete the experiment. So, I will announce what lab you will use and what group you will be end up with,'

You and Yugyeom will go together with Bambam, Yerin and Jimin at lab 3 and all of you will be the 5th group. While waiting, you and Yugyeom try to memorize what should you do with the experiment. You realize that Yugyeom still has not really remember the procedures yet but you know he will do well. You don't want him to panic so you keep on telling him he will be fine.
Its about time. Mr kang call your name, Yugyeom, Bambam, Jimin and Yerin and you guys walk to lab 3 together. Bambam said goodluck to both of you before going to the table that already been set up .

'Hey, lets do this. And don't worry, we just need to pass,' you smile. And he smiles back.

Both of you take 30 minutes to complete the experiment. You are supposed to get a purple liquid but end up getting a blue black liquid. Mr Kang check on your work and jot down some notes before revealing your marks.

Your group marks is 65 which is B, and you think it is not bad at all.

You walk out from the lab happily, humming your favourite GOT7 song before Yugyeom grab your arm.

'Im sorry,' he said.

'For what?' you ask.

'For the B marks,'
'You really do?' you ask him again and he nods.

'So can we go eat? And don't say you are sorry anymore. That's the thing that you have to do to cover up what you did,' You smile at him.

Bambam suddenly appear and grab Yugyeom on his neck cheerfully, 'We pass!'

'Congrats! Then lets go eat!' you said while Yugyeom still looking a bit upset.

'Stop feeling so down okay? Its not your fault. We work on this together and B is okay. Alright?'

'B is beyond okay if you want to compare to ours,' bambam try to help you. You smile at bambam.

Yugyeom take a look at you and bambam before smiling too and lead the way to cafeteria. You feel so good have a lunch with them. You realize you got a lot of eyes on you when you sit with them. You feel so uncomfortable but you hide it well.
School ends just like that. Yugyeom and Bambam go back earlier when their manager pick them up. You also go home straight away. Your dad's friends are at home and you go in from the back door because you don't want to get scold. You know your dad don't like it when you appear in front of his friends. You walk silently to your room and you heard Lena told them her experiment story and how your stepmother praise her. You let out a heavy sigh.

You took a shower and lay down on your bed while looking at the ceiling of your room. Some glow in the dark stars at your ceiling doesn't have the lights anymore. Semester break will be approaching next week. You will be working during the 3 months break. Its always like that. You will spend your semester break working while Lena will be in a vacation. The fanmeeting will be held during the semester break. so you pretty sure Lena will go for a vacation after the fanmeeting.

Your phone let out a small beep and you see Yugyeom's name on the notification.

'Yoomi,' as simple as that he text you.
'Yugyeom,' you reply him.

'What are you doing?' he asks.

'Nothing. Just laying on my bed,'

'Already dinner?' he asks more.

'Yea already did,' you lie.

'I haven't and I am so hungry right now,' he tell you and you feel that he is so cute especially with the fact that you don't even ask him.

'Why? Tell your hyungs to buy you some food,'

'Mark and Jr hyungs are out to buy some foods,'
'Good then. Eat well,'

'You want to sleep?'

'Yea. I am so tired. And I have to go to school tomorrow. You are going to school?'

'Oh yea school. Im not going, I have to practice for our first anniversary fanmeeting,'

'Goodluck!,'

'Thanks. Goodnight Yoomi,'

'Goodnight Yugyeom,'

The conversation ends like that but it makes your heartbeat grows. It is simple but it has it owns meaning. You feel so happy, you cant explain what you feel and all you want to do is keep having a conversation with him but you know you cant. You just cant.
