Chapter 9

You wake up the next day feeling so good and so excited to start your work. You haven't tell your dad about it yet so you are thinking about leaving a note to him before you leave. Ken told you to wear white collar shirt with black pants. So since your favourite colour is white, so there is no problem with that.

You have to arrive at 8 so you leave home at 7 in the morning after writing a short note to your dad.

You take a bus to go to JYP building. All the way to JYP, you overthink a lot of things. A lot of what if appear in your mind. Yugyeom also suddenly appear in your mind. But you immediately forget about him and comeback in reality. You work there to earn money, that is your first intention. So if you meet GOT7 everyday, or specifically if you meet Yugyeom everyday, it is just a bonus for you.

You arrive at JYP and show your staff pass to the security before being let in. Everything is still in quite. You check on your handphone while walking to the café before realize there is a message from Jimin 15 minutes ago.

Hey goodluck first day! I'll come once I'm done with practice!

You smile alone. Jimin means a lot to you now and you feel like she is your bestfriend. So you greet Ken immediately after you reach the café. Buffet foods already being served by the kitchen staffs. So according to Ken, you just have to be a waitress. All you have to do is clean the table, taking orders and help customers if they have problem with the food. Ken give you the JYP apron for you to wear. At 8am, the café start to open and one by one customer come in. By 11am, you can tell that you met JYP staffs a lot but as for artists, you only met the trainees.

It is not a tough job at all and you have so much fun working there. Ken is a good manager. He always keep his eyes on you since you are still new and whenever you did wrong, he will explain and show you the right thing to do. Jimin and Yerin appear at 1pm, wearing casual clothes and didn't wear make up at all.

As usual, Jimin is so noise and bubbly. They are both say hye to you before go to the buffet table to get their food.

'Have you eat?' she asks you.

'Nope, not yet,' you answer her.

Immediately Jimin looks at Ken. 'Oppa, can I ask her to sit and eat with us?'

You look at her. Jimin can be so random at times. Or maybe all the time.

'Yea sure. It's already lunch time and her break time. One hour break for you,' Ken said and smile to you. You bow to him before Jimin pull your hand and let you sit beside her.

'Go and get your food there,' Yerin said.

'But it looks so improper I sit here with you guys,'

'Why? We are still the same. We are friends. There is nothing wrong sitting together and have a lunch together with a friend,' Jimin voice out.

'But here, you guys are more than my friends. You know what I mean,'

'Yoomi ahh~ don't think we are as a celebrity or whatsoever. For this one hour break, we are your friend. Don't worry too much,' Yerin also voice out.

It takes you 3 minutes to get up and get your food before comeback and sit beside Jimin. Both of them are smiling while looking at you.

'So how is it working here?' Yerin ask after 15 minutes of silent between you and them.

'So nice. Ken oppa is so nice. He keeps helping me the right way to do all this stuffs,'

'Glad then you like it here. Plus, you can meet GOT7 too,' Jimin winks at you.

'But GOT7 is so rare eating here tho. They like to go to The Street Café,' Yerin interrupt.

'Its alright. I didn't work here for them after all,'

'Aww! You sound like a broken heart,' Yerin said while smiling, trying to tease you.

'Are you?' Jimin asks while looking into your eyes.

You feel trap. You are so nervous but yet you still stare in her eyes .

' I AM NOT,' you try to make it clear.

'Okay we will see,' Jimin said and continue looking at her food and eat.

One hour end up so fast then you have to go back to work and both Jimin Yerin go back to continue their practice. You will work until 9pm. Its an everyday routine. You also met Sunmi and Miss A. It is feel so awkward working there and meet them. You really feel thankful towards Jimin. It is a lie if you didnt hope for GOT7 to come. But yet, you think you still have a lot of time there, so one day, you will meet them again.

'who allows you to work?' you hear your dad's voice once you enter the house.

you turn around and see him sitting on the couch alone. 'Dad? What are you doing there? Sitting alone in the dark? It is late you should go to sleep,' You try to calm down.

'Answer my question,' you hear his strict voice again.

'I am sorry dad. it is just so sudden and since i have nothing to do, i just decide i should go find some job to earn extra money. That's all,' you try to be as calm as you can anad you hope that your dad wont think that you are lying.

'Money that i give you is not enough?'

Gosh! You hate that question so much. He keeps on asking that and you can't tell him the truth about your stepmother. It will be more complicated.

'No dad. It is just a normal job. Don't worry too much,' you try to talk to him nicely, hoping that he will understand.

'Go upstairs! No more work tomorrow!,'

He dont have to tell you twice. So you walk fastly to your room and lock yourself inside. The first thing you do is texting Jimin, telling her what is happening. But she didnt reply you after 1 hour and you assume that she is still busy. while waiting, you fall asleep.
