Everybody Wants To Rule The World~ Kylo Ren Fan Fiction

Chapter 8: The Beginning

Seeing the debry soar into the sky my hopes fall again. Kylo stares at it, "General Hux, advance, no prisoners" hearing this made me sick . His mother is in there the women who took care of me after the left for the dark side. My disgust shines through and I get up leaving the cockpit area and into the main room sitting on a bench facing the window looking out at the peaceful empty salt desert. Feeling Kylo's presence behind me I stay as I am, silent tears streaming down my face, "stop this Ben...". He reaches forward touching my shoulder when I whip my head at him, " you're mother, the women who took care of me after you left is in there! How could you do this?! She only ever tried to help you, us!". His face doesn't change and stares into my eyes, "we must let old things die." Feeling hopeless I turn my head back to the desert, "then kill me too...".

Before Kylo can saying Hux comes out interrupting us, "Kylo Ren, Luke Skywalker is here". Kylo nods making Hux leave, he runs to me kissing my head, "you are the most precious thing to me you are not old but new. I'll be back" and with that he leaves back into the cockpit. I run to the cockpit after him looking out towards the sight, "Master Skywalker..." I feel tears pricking at the edges, he's here. The entire first order fleet stood about five hundred yards away from the opening, Kylo tense looking straight at Skywalker, "I want every gun we hand fired at that man". Looking out I pray that he's not actually there, this is our last hope for the resistance.

Kylo gives the command and every single gun starts to fire at the man. My heart drops at the sight, "more!" Kylo yells, I take his hand pleading but he doesn't knowledge it. His grip tightens on your hand yelling, "more!!" I wince in pain trying to get my hand out of his grasp as the firing continue. Hux notices and being decent for once, "that enough, you are crush your girls hand". Kylo snaps out of it letting go giving you a concerned look at your throbbing red hand. I glare at him walking to the other side to see the battle not wanting to be near him when he is like this. Hux screams, "that's enough!" and the firing stops. Kylo falls back into the chair, pulling me over to sit on his lap. Taking my hurt hand in his focusing on it until it doesn't hurt anymore, "I'm sorry..." he whispered kissing my cheek. I feel like he's not only saying sorry to my hand but I take none the less. I'm still mad but I'll yell at him later.

"Do you think you got him" Hux question sarcastically before continuing, "now, if we're ready to get moving. We can finish this." Kylo says quiet for picking me up and sitting you in the chair, "sir?" an officer asked and Kylo moves forward. Watching the dust settle we see Skywalker is there untouched by the repeated blast, dusting his shoulder off as a taunt. I smirk holding my laugh in as Kylo shakily exhales staring at our old master, "bring me down to him, keep the door covered and don't do anything until I say". Hux tries to warn him about their goal but Kylo simply pushes him into the wall with the force, I let out a laugh and the pilot not wanting to test Kylo's patience, "right away sir". He turns around to me touching my face and kissing my head before leaving out the ship as it lands on the salt filled desert.

Hux is knocked out cold so I take his seat in the front to get a better view, the pilot looks at me questioningly. I shrug, "what you don't get to see your boyfriend and you're old master fight everyday" trying to hide the nerves as the pilot looks forward. Watching Kylo step closer to Skywalker with just 100 yards away from each other, Kylo shrugs off his cape and invites his lightsaber. Sitting at the edge of my seat I see Skywalker ignite his getting ready for combat. Kylo raises his saber up to his face pointing out. Then it clicks Skywalker is stalling for the resistance, they are the spark that sets the flame to burn down the first order. Skywalker is going to sacrifice himself to help the resistance escape.

Then I see the fight begin with Kylo rushing towards Skywalker. Barely missing the first blow Skywalker recovers, they stare at each other and then Kylo attacks again. Skywalker dodges it and then it seems like a conversation starts up. I wanted to tap in but that could throw everything off so I don't and continue to watch. Then the unimaginable happens Skywalker turns off his saber, causing me to lurch forward putting my hand on the panel in shock. I can sense the inner battle Kylo is having, it's Ben vs. Kylo. I root for Ben but Kylo over powers and with that I watch him run towards Skywalker. Covering my eyes not wanting to see my old master fall at the hand of Kylo Ren.

I hear the pilot gasp and I look up from my hands, Skywalker is still standing not a scratch on him. Skywalker turns towards Kylo, Kylo poking him with the saber just for it to go through. Showing it was all just a trick, then Skywalker turns seeming to look at you saying in your mind and out loud, "see you around, kid" then disappeared.

       I can see clearly Kylo is not happy, sighing leaning back, "oh shit we are really in for it now". Pilot looks over with wide eyes and I turn to him, "if I were you once he's back in here keep your mouth shut and only say yes sir". With that I turn around pulling Hux up and off the ship to meet Kylo below. Once making it out I see Kylo looking at the base in realization, "NOOOOO!" We make our way over to him at he stomping into the old resistance base. Then I feel something, I stop in my tracks, someone joining the force permanently. Luke Skywalker is gone, feeling sadness but peace at the same time, he left us fulfilling his duty.

We all walk in with storm troopers behind us, taking in the room. Memories everywhere from when I saw seventeen, this is where we stayed before going to D'Qaur. Kylo walks to the right leaving Hux behind along with the storm trooper's, however I follow him in. We can sense Leia and Han were here, they made it out. Kylo picks something off the floor and it's his fathers golden dice chain that he had hanging in the falcon. I walk over touching the metal sensing they are not gone yet. Kylo stares into the wall knowing he has connected with Rey, he flinched hearing something before turning back to me. The chain disappears in a Kylo's hand and he grips it as if it still was. They had escaped. Grabbing a hold of his hand he looks up at me, "I will always be here by your side". His face softens and I can see Ben shinning through, he pulls me in for a sweet tender kiss then placing our foreheads together. We are one now.
