Everybody Wants To Rule The World~ Kylo Ren Fan Fiction

Chapter 7: Battle

             Snoke drops Rey after she loses the battle between the two, "well, we'll... I did not expect Skywalker to be so wise. We will give him and the Jedi Order the death he desires" Snoke laughed, "after the rebels are gone we will go to his planet  and destroy the entire island". Rey stands up fast force pulling Skywalkers lightsaber just for it to go around her, hit her on the back in the head and land in Snoke's hands once again, "such spunk, look here now". Snoke then forces me to the small screen showing the resistance escape ships being blown up, my eyes widen seeing what's left of the resistance. "For you all is lost" Snoke taunted me and then I break free calling the Kylo's lightsaber catching and igniting. The guards are on me instantly but do not attack, "oooh and still that fiery spot of hope. You have the spirit of a true Jedi!" Kicking me back infront of Kylo's feet the saber landing front of him, "and because of that you must die". Snoke exclaimed towards Kylo and I, looking up to meet his eyes fear flashes in mine, he closed himself off. Pulling me up to sit in my knees with the force facing Kylo, "my worthy apprentice, son of darkness, heir apparent to Lord Vader. Where there was conflict I now sense resolve. Where there was weakness,  strength. Complete your training and fulfill your destiny".  I watch Kylo pick up the saber hearing Rey yelling no in the background, he walks closer to me looking straight at me still closes off I feel my heart beating out of my chest. "I know what I have to do" he says staring right into me, "Ben..." I whisper pleading. Snoke laughs, "you think you can turn him? The Ben Solo you knew and loves is gone pathetic child. I cannot be betrayed. I can not be beaten. I see his mind, I see his every intent. Yes... I see him turning the lightsaber to kill true." Kylo flights the off saber to my chest keeping eye contact, I refuse to lose him now. Snoke continues his rant, "foolish child, he ignited it and kills his true enemy!"

       After a second my body drops with a thud and so does Rey, I look over at Snoke the saber cutting through and then slicing him in half. Rey catches the saber and I pull out mine from my thigh belt igniting it. Standing up I make eye contact with Kylo but I can see Ben is there instead. Ben ignites his saber as we all look at each other and then turn to face the knights of ren, starting the fight.

      I have two one me, two on Rey and two on Ben. I struggle to fight the two trying to remember my training, barely missing hits and being burned in the arm I keep them off. Rey and Ben both kill one as I struggle ducking under the whip and sticking the one with a duel blades. The one with a whip catches my saber and pulls me closer grabbing my neck fearing that it's the end for me, I find the power and over come him stabbing my sword in and up through his back. The one with fuel blades comes back towards me, I look at Ben making eye contact before fighting the knight quickly. I'm too slow and he kicks me in the leg throwing me to the ground, I roll over when he tries to strike springing back up on my feet. We are at a deadlock now, looking at the situation I drop my saber just to duck and catch it killing the knight by slicing its neck. I whip around seeing Ben in a chick hold with no weapon, "BEN!" I throw my saber turned off towards him. He catches it swiftly turning it in for a second then off chilling the knight as Rey finishes the last one off.

          I run towards him pulling him into an embrace, he hold on so tightly but in relief that I'm alive before damaging his lips into mine giving me the sense of comfort and relief. We pull away as Rey runs towards the screen, "the fleet! Oder them to stop firing, there's still time to save them". Kylo let's go of me and I look at him confused, we just killed Snoke the one holding him to the darkness. Ben walks closer to Rey, "Ben?" She questioned and then he answers, "it's time to let old things die. Snoke, Skywalker, the sith, the Jedi, the Resistance... let it all die. Rey...I want you to join me and Ara." Rey and I look at him in disbelief to what he saying, he stretches out a hand towards Rey, "we can rule all of us and bring a new order to the galaxy". I walk closer to Ben putting my hand on his shoulder, "don't do this Ben... please don't go this way" I plead shaking. Ben turns back to Kylo full of anger, "No! No! You're still holding on! Let go!" He yells at me and I shrink back feeling a pang in my heart.  Kylo turns to Rey, "do you want to know the truth about your parents?" Rey stays silent with a broken look on her face, "or have you always known?" Kylo questions and continues pushing, "And you've just hidden it away. You know the truth, say it" he walks closer to her.
