TW: Mentions of fire, mentions of near death experiences and slight swearing

No one's POV

Both Harry and Ginny's heads snapped towards the closest window when they heard strange noises outside, their almost-kiss never happening. Fireballs flew from the sky and landed on the ground, surrounding the burrow with flames.

Dark figures flew around in the sky, inching closer and closer until they landed on the ground turning back into their human forms. All of the adults at the entrance took out their wands to be ready as Bellatrix Lestrange could be seen.

The boy with round glasses quickly rushed to the door, pushing past the adults. Bellatrix smirked, running away through a tiny gap that's not filled with fire. "HARRY! NO!" Lupin shouted chasing after the boy with the scar. "REMUS!" Tonks called out. Harry ran out of the place as well. Nymphadora and Remus used magic, trying to keep the gap open.

The long haired redhead girl pushed past her parents and ran out too, looking for the raven  haired boy. "I killed Sirius Black! I killed Sirius Black!" The curly haired death eater yelled in a sing-song voice. "You coming to get me?" She joked, like kids playing tag would. She then laughed maniacally.

The sound of the two teens panting and wheat being pushed away, while slapping back to their original place, filled their ears. In a swift second, everything went silent. Harry has stopped running, looking around, expecting someone to jump out of nowhere.

He started running again. Ginny was the one that stopped running this time. "Harry?" She called out, hearing the sound of water rippling in a nearby pond. A figure came out of the bushes, definitely a death eater, but she didn't recognise him. The Weasley girl backed up a little from fear.

Instantly, Potter came out of nowhere, pushing past her, casting a spell. "Stupefy!" The guy blocked the spell. He turned into a black fog and flew away. The sound of footsteps could be heard again.

The two teenagers started duelling with death eaters. "GINNY!" Mr. Weasley shouted. Soon enough, three adults came, shielding the youngest Weasley and the Potter boy. Harry held onto Ginny's arm, attempting to protect her.

The death eater's turned into black fogs again and flew straight through the house, causing it to catch on fire. The five people snapped their heads to the sound of crashing. "Molly." Arthur murmured and they ran back to their home.

The Weasley twins, Ron, and Molly stood in front of the burning house in shock, while Hermione laid unconscious on the floor with Katerína kneeling next to her. Mrs. Weasley had tears in her eyes and Katia looked down in guilt. Mr. Weasley wrapped an arm around his wife. The other four stopped running as well and looked up, wide eyed.

Katerína's POV

I was still sitting outside of the burrow. Hermione went to sleep quite a while ago. I couldn't stop thinking about her and what happened. I like her, a lot, but I just have a feeling I will mess it up. And I don't think she had time to get over Weasley.

I really don't want to hurt her. In fact, I care about her. But I'm not sure. My parents assured me so many times in my life that I am incapable of loving or being loved. A part of me still kind of believes that.

The sound of whooshing filled my ears. My eyes quickly snapped to the fireball falling from the sky. Oh sh*t. I forgot. Today was the day they planned on attacking the burrow. Crap.

I quickly scurried to the back of the house so none of the death eaters could see me. I still peaked a little to see what was happening. Bellatrix came out of her fog form as soon as she reached the ground, a smug look on her face.

'Don't come out Harry' I repeated in my head, knowing that's the point of this. But my hopes got crushed as the green eyed boy rushed out and chased the crazy lady. That Weasley girl chased after him too. Tonks, Lupin and Mr. Weasley ran to them soon after as well. Then I remembered. "Hermione." I whispered under my breath.

The black fogs crashed into the house and the whole place caught on fire. I ran inside it, going to rescue the Gryffindor girl. "Katia!" I heard someone scream but I didn't even bother turning around to see who it was.

After climbing up a ton of stairs, I finally arrived at Ginny's room, which was where the girls were sleeping. Loud sobbing and whimpering filled my ears. I tried opening the door but it was jammed. "Hey! It's ok. I'm here." I reached for my wand and remembered I accidentally dropped it outside. "Rina?" I nodded frantically, even though I knew she couldn't see me.

After seconds of me shoving the door, I finally got it open. "Oh Rina! I thought I was going to die." The frizzy haired girl hugged me tightly and I slowly returned it. "I- I... uhm-" Before she could finish that sentence, her caramel brown eyes closed and she collapsed into my arms.

"Hermione! Agh!" I picked up the brunette girl, bridal style. My face had black spots due to the ashes. I was coughing crazily, But it didn't matter, at least I saved her; everything was fine.
