Meanwhile,

Kathir who was sitting in the backyard walked over and over and went towards the river side already.......
Despite the scorching sun, he stood there thinking about their life..........

Mullai who slept for sometime, got up as she felt hungry owing to constant vomiting and avoiding food since morning.......
Roaming in search of food she went towards the backside accidentally where she got the view of the river.......

Getting mesmerized by the beauty she was feasted by nature after all these years of loneliness and stresses of the past one month she moved towards the river with a smile forgetting her hungry stomach........
And thats when jega noticed that she was moving towards the river........

He even noticed kathir's presence in other bank of river.......
Thinking it as their pre-planned meeting he went in with a smile as he felt that their life will soon be ok post this meeting........

Things would have been better if he was quiet but no......
On a silly argument with his wife kasthuri while she was scolding dhanam's upbringing as the reason for mullai's sorrow......Her recent favorite taunt.........Jega who usually keeps quiet or moves away this time shouted saying this that kathir and mullai are trying to mend their ways by setting up a meeting in river bank......

Kasthuri instead of reacting in a quiet manner as usual gave a high-pitched shout saying kathir is going to push mullai in river.....
An innocent mullai who even doesn't know how to swim is going to suffer because of this and what not.......

Things enough to scare the parents which made them all rush towards the river.......

Only to see drowning mullai and kathir swimming near her........

And that very sight was enough for them all to decide what would have happened......

While PS family firmly believed kathir was not such a person, their words didnt reach parvathy who otherwise turned deaf-ear seeing her daughter like that.........

Ofcourse she was in such a state of mind that nothing seemed to be visible or audible except her kid.......
Even the ever-composed murugan lost his composture and moved towards the river giving an accusing look to the family........
As soon as he reached the bank, kathir caught mullai and brought her to bank already........

Shaking her wildly within his hands and calling her name again and again.........

K:Mulla......mulla..........ei.........mulla...........

Lifting her up from the water he placed her on the bank where the whole family is standing and started pressing her stomach to take the excess water she drank while falling on the river.......

Constantly calling her name back to back.......

Without being instructed by anyone or waiting for anyone he chose to do the first aid for her despite the presence of everyone............

While the panicked family members to constantly cried her name out.......

Catching hold of her jaw with one hand and lifting her head with other hand he shook her a bit violently making her let out all the water she drank...........

Mullai opened her eyes slowly coughing.......

The family members heaved a sigh of relief as soon as she opened her eyes........
