Maideporte Series #1: Twin Vengeance

Chapter 22

Agad na naningkit ang mga mata ko nang makita ko ang lalaki na naging dahilan kung bakit nawala ang isang pinaka-importanteng tao sa buhay ko. He is the source of my misery. May kasalanan ako sa nangyari and I am very aware of that at habang-buhay kong dadalhin ang pagkakasalang iyon. Pero ang lalaking ito, he is the main reason why my twin died and he will pay for it!

“It is good to see you again, my Love!” Aniya habang nakangisi at agad na lumapit sa akin.

My hands are already trembling, not because of fear but because of my eagerness to kill this bastard in front of me! He ordered his men to get me but it didn't end up the way he wanted and that's because of my twin. And because of that, my twin died.

Wala na akong inaksaya na oras na agad na sinugod si Theodore pero mabilis akong hinarangan ng dalawang lalaki kanina at pinrotektahan ito. As much as I want to put my blade in his insides, I just can't. I need to eradicate first this two men bago ko mapatay si Theodore!

Sinugod ko ang isang lalaki, sipa, suntok at ilag ang ginawa ko sa kanya. At nang matumba ito ay agad ko itong binaril sa ulo at binalingan ang isa pa. I saw Theodore in my peripheral vision smirks kaya masa lalo pa na uminit ang ulo.

Sinuntok ko nang malakas ang lalaki na siyang dahilan para bumagsak ito pero agad din itong bumangon at sinuntok ako pero agad din naman akong naka-ilag. I reached for the man's wrist and held onto it tightly, hinila ko ito palapit sa akin at agad na kinuwelyuhan. I kicked the back of his right knee. Pinilipit ko ang kamay nito papasok at hinawaka ang siko nito at inilagay sa kanyang likod. And just a matter of seconds, his belly touched the ground. Hinablot ko ang katana na nasa likuran ko at sinaksak ito sa batok. Tumalsik pa ang ilang dugo sa mukha ko pero hinayaan ko ito at binalingan Theodore.

“I'm impressed, my Love.”

Tumayo ako at lumapit sa gawi niya, he's fuckingly smiling and it pissess me off! I took my caliber 45 at aimed at him pero bago ko pa man makalabit ang gatilyo ng baril ay nabaril na niya ako sa braso.

“Not so fast, my Love. I can't let you end the game that easily. Where is the fun in that?!” He said and turn his back on me. I was about to aim for him when he stopped and looked at me. “Let's play hide and seek, my Love. Find me and when you do,  I'm yours to keep. Clue, I'll be going to Philippines, so see you there!”

Mas lalo pa na uminit ang ulo ko dahil sa turan nito. I can't let him turned his back on me, not to day and not ever! My fucking wound already took my whole month and I can't let this opourtunity to slip in my hands to kill this man!

Nasayang na ang isang buwan ko at hindi ko hahayaan na makawala ito ngayon lalo pa at abot-kamay ko na ito.

Mabilis kong hinabol si Theodore pero agad rin akong napatigil nang marinig kong isinigaw ni Louise ang pangalan ko. And when I turned towards her direction, a bullet reached my flesh.

Shit!

“Cattleya!” Rinig kong tawag ni Louise bago ako matumba sa malamig na semento.

Ramdam ko ang malagkit na likido na dumadaloy mula sa tama ng baril pero hindi sapat iyon para panghinaan ako ng loob at mawalan ng pag-asa o sumuko. There are things that I still need to accomplish and there is no way in hell that I'll be dying in this rotten place!

I mustered all the strength I need to stand up pero agad rin akong napatigil dahil sa naramdaman kong sakit mula sa tama ng baril.

“Cattleya!”

“I–I am fine.” Sagot ko kay Louise.

“No you’re not! Ako ang mananagot kay Leonarde nito! Joaquin, help me with Cattleya!” Rinig kong saad niya and tell me things I don't want to hear.

I didn't bother myself to answer her. I know Louise better than anyone else, she may scold me for being hard headed and may stop me from doing things recklessly but I know she'll be by my side no matter what.

I saw Joaquin running towards our direction at nang makalapit ito sa amin ni Louise ay agad akong pinitik sa noo at umiling. He carried me like a bride and walked me out of the place. Nadaanan namin ang ilang mga tauhan ni Theodore na wala ng mga malay na nakatihaya sa lupa. Some are bathed with their own blood due to stab wounds  and others were shot in every parts of their body.

“We need to bring her to the hospital.” Rinig kong saad ni Louise nang ma-i-upo ako ni Joaquin sa backseat.

“Put a pressure on her wound. It will help to stop the bleeding.” He said and started the engine.

I saw Louise ripped her sleeves off and put it in my gun shot wounds with pressure. Mariin akong napapikit dahil sa sakit, rinig ko pa ang pagtawag ni Louise sa pangalan ko at tinapik ng bahagya ang aking pisngi at sinabing huwag akong matutulog.

“Silly! Hindi pa ako mamamatay, Louise.” I said as I opened my eyes. “Don't bring me to the hospital, just drive me home.”

“No! Leonarde will kill me of she knew that you are shot!”

“He will not, unless you'll tell him.”

“Pero yung bala, sino ang—”

“Joaquin will do it.” Putol ko sa kanya. Hindi na ako nakinig pa sa mga kaartehan ng kaibigan ko at agad na pinikit ang aking mga mata.

I am exhausted and was shot and I can't afford to hear her rants. I don't care if my brothers finds out, they can hate me for being hard headed but they can't stop me from avenging my twin.

“Let's play hide and seek, my Love. Find me and when you do,  I'm yours to keep. Clue, I'll be going to Philippines, so see you there!”

I clenched my fist as I remember what Theodore told me. Hide and seek he say?! Then I'll find him and when I do, he'll be dead for sure.
