Chapter 6, The Restaurant

Shadow POV

I can't belive I just did that, tails' reaction was not what I expected from him. Well anyways we were going to a restaurant, I wonder which one though. "so, where are we going?" tails asked me, "I dunno, some fancy restaurant or something." I reply to him "ok, sounds good!" he says to me in a cheerful mood.

We arrive at the place and I say "this is it!" "thanks shad" he replies with a smile, I blush slightly and we go inside. Tails holds my hand on the way, "hello there shadow!" Hobbs (my personal waiter) says to me "you got a date with you?" he says continuing his sentance, he must have noticed tails holding my hand. Before I could say anything tails said "yup!" I blush. "oh I see, so a table for two?" hobbs says to me "yeah" I reply while blushing lightly.

Tails POV

We sit down at our table and the waiter gives us our menus "what would you two lovebirds like to drink?" the waiter says to us, "I'll take some water" shadow says, I say the same. "so you two are friends?" I say to shadow, "yeah, been friends ever since college" he says to me. "so, uh, this is a nice place." I say to him nervously, "yep, sure is!" he replies with a smile.

Hobbs arrives and gives us our water and says "anything to eat?" well I haven't thought about that yet I look at my menu and shadow says "I'll uuuh have um some spaghetti" I look at shadow and say "I'll have that too I guess" "okay then!" Hobbs says.

"Hobbs is nice" I say to shadow "yeah he is!" he says back, After a while Hobbs gives us our food and says "enjoy".

Shadow POV (10 minutes later)

"that was good!" tails says to me, I smile at him and say "yeah it is!"
we say bye to hobbs and we leave "I like going on dates with you!" Tails says to me "yep so do I!" I say back to him, we kiss each other and get in the car.

I drop tails off at his and Sonics house and we say our goodbyes, I go back to me and rouges place. I arrive and go inside "do you and tails have a good time?" rouge asks me, "well uh something happened with tails." I say nervously "what happened?" rouge replies "well um, tails is my boyfriend now." I say to rouge "oh my goodness really?" she says back "yeah, we even had our first kiss" I to her blushing.

Tails POV

I walk inside ready to tell sonic the news "so, how'd it go?" sonic says to me smirking "It went great! he kissed me, we went on a date! it was amazing!" I yell to him "wow! like oh mah GAWD (idk why i wrote it like that xD) congrats!" he yells back "thanks buddy" I say to him. I go inside my bedroom and take off my gloves and shoes, I lay down in my bed and think about what cpuld happen with me and shadow.
