Chapter 7 (Siblings)

"Really, a lot of food store will be here tomorrow?" Nagulat si Amirah sa sinabi ni Lolita.

"Yeah.... Sr.  Proncipal les invita"(Mr. Proncipa invites them)

Bigla siyang may naalala

"Puedo invitar a mis amiga para que participen?"(Can I invite my friend to join?)

"No yo sé" (I don't know)

"Pero, ¿qué harás si lo escribo? A request letter?"(But what if I write it?)

"Qué?"

"Request letter!" sambit niya.

"Buena suerte amiga" ani Lolita tyaka ngumiti

"Gracias."

Nagpunta siya sa Principal's office... Nandoon lang si Silvia.

"Hola. Si me lo permite, ¿dónde está el Sr. Rojas?

"Hola. Está sentado en la sala de reunión." (He's sitting in the meeting room.)

"Gracias... Um, ¿puedo preguntarte algo?"(Um, can I ask you something?)

"¿Qué es ese?"(Okay. What's that?)

"Tengo una amiga ahí afuera, y su nombre es Guadalupe."(I have a friend out there, and her name is Guadalupe)

"Y?"

"Ella ya vieja, sola, necesitada. Quiero ayudar a ella."(She is old, alone and in need. I want to help her")

"Dime, ¿qué puedo hacer para ayudarte?"(Tell me, what can I do to help?)

"Le escribí una carta al Principal"(I wrote a letter to the Principal.) I hope my friend would be able to sell her breads inside the campus tomorrow. Help me po favor"

"Está bien, le diré."(Okay, I will tell him.)

"Mira, es... es importante ¿puedo contar contigo?"(Look, it's, it's... it's important. Can I count on you?)

"No hay problema"(No problem)

Nakangiting lumabas ito.

Patungo siya sa kanyang klase.

Napahinto siya ng makita ang hinahanap.

"Señorito Juan Pablo?" gulat na wika ng isang guro

Napalingon ito ng may marinig siyang tumawag sa kanyang pangalan.

"Buenos dias" bati nya

"Me alegro de verte, señorito"(Glad to see you, Mr.)

"Me too. I'm go ahead" aniya pero nakatingin ito sa sireksyon kung saan niya nakita ang hinahanap.

Isa isa niyang sinisilip ang mga rooms.

Natigilan siya sa paglalakad ng may buglang lumabas sa isang room malapit sa kinaroroonan niya.

Tumalikod siya bigla.

"Bakit ngayon ka pa ayaw magsend...... Haaaaay kaialangan kita ngayon" ani Amirah

Itinaas niya ang hawak na cellphone.

"Thank you, buti namam nakisama ka."
