When he unwrapped the parcel, it is a Fire Emblem: Radiant Chronicles, when he scanned the book, it has two parts, The Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, but he had no time for his journeys until he finishes his homework.
A few weeks later, Hikaru finishes his assignments and he decided to go into his room and he told his family to have a journey again.
He opens the book and reads it until he falls asleep.

Hikaru was sleeping under the tree but he is in the middle of the fight in the forest between Greil Mercenaries and the Bandits.
One of the bandits, take advantage of Hikaru and he decided to attack.

Once he attacked but Hikaru woke up of a sudden and kicks the bandit off for interrupting his sleeping time he unsheathed the sword to ready to fight and then he fight the bandits and he defeat the leader, Ikanau all by himself.
Hikaru met Ike, a new member of the Greil Mercenaries, Boyd, Oscar, Rhys, and Deputy Commander Titania, and they are amazed by his sword skill. Titania warned him to do not to sleep in the bandit's place like this, he apologize but he had not enough sleep. Until he heard a shrieking woman's voice.
And a bandit hold the girl named Mist, and Rolf, an archer he told them to lay their arms otherwise Mist will die. But Hikaru in a swift move, chop the bandit on his shoulder with his hand and knock him off. The Greil Mercenaries were impressed by his acts and they seem that he had the potential to join the Greil Mercenaries.
Until Deputy Commander Shinon and Gatrie a knight, approach them, both of them are from Greil Mercenaries. Shinon praises Hikaru that he had skills and then they decide to go Titania told Hikaru to come with them and he agreed and he gets a bag and leaves with them.
While they are walking back to the base. Hikaru introduces himself to them as a foreigner from an unknown land. Hikaru answered many questions that they asked him and then they reach the base also Hikaru met Greil who is the father of Ike and Mist, in addition, he's the leader of the Greil Mercenaries. Titania told Greil that Hikaru was a brilliant and skilled Swordsman. And Greil have a proposal to Hikaru that he wants to join in the Greil Mercenaries and Hikaru accepted it and Greil welcomes him to his Mercenaries
