The mighty Viking Chiefs (minus Bertha) gathered to conven. Although none of them even believed that such a thing could exist, they could at least try to see these...devil loving idiots out. Plus the Berkian elder can give a very hard hit to the head. And none of the vikings wanted that to happen again. When they disagreed in such a rude way it made Snotlout cringe, Gothi hit them on the head so hard most of them were dazed.

The Empress's sister, Raven, had stated that-in order to see proof of what dragons can be if given the chance-the Chiefs would have to pick an island to visit. And that only made the viking Chiefs even more hesaident. Why would they split up to go into a dragon infested island and probably be killed?! Picked off one by one?
But Stoick was set on going with Hiccup. He needed answers. He was in shock really, not that he would admit to something like that. He had to right the wrongs he had made. He can see why Hiccup had run away, even though in his mind it was cowardly. Gobber had opened his eyes to the way Stoick and the village had treated his only son. For years he had prayed to the Gods to give him a second chance, and now he was getting it. He was not gonna mess this up. He swore to his beloved Valka he would not mess this up. Even if he had to endure days on an infested island. Wouldn't it be worth it?

Didn't he owe it to his son and wife? If he could even call Hiccup his son anymore. Not to mention the fact that Hiccup is this Dragon Kongur, that name alone would make him have quite a few enemies. But Stoick would protect him. Then, soon enough, they'd be a family again, and make Val happy. Right? No, Stoick could not mess this up. He'll have Gobber put him in check if he must.

Stoick would be lying if he said he wasn't envious of his old friend. Him a Hiccup got along much better than he ever has. The way Hiccup and Gobber had reunited. Even hugged! WHy couldn't that be him? Because you screwed up, and were a terrible father! But don't we all make mistakes?! You had made far too many! Stoick's mind was at war with itself.
Mogadons voice ripped him from his thoughts.

"Okay then it's settled." His gruff voice echoed around the circle the Chiefs had made. Had Stoick really missed the entire conversation?

"Settled on what" Stoick asked with a rough voice. The Chiefs looked at him weirdly, but Norbert answered.

"On what island to go to. We figured, if we can have trained dragons, the damage we cause our enemies would be imaginable." They wanted to use the dragons?

Magadon spoke up, "I shall go to Elderain whatever with all miss high and mighty teeth wearing queen." Magadon was not a respectful man, especially to women. One of the many reasons why Bertha hated him. Well, why most people hate him. And he was very ill-mannered. And that was coming from vikings, who didn't pride themselves on manners.

"And I will be going to the Defenders of the Wing. We had assumed you would want to go to your traitor of a son's island." Norbert spat. Stoick nearly exploded in fury at that comment. How dare he insult my son!! His face was turning red, and the other vikings in the room were slowly backing away. Nobody sane or insane would want to mess with Stoick's fiery temper. Just as Stoick was about to steam bloody murder, he was interrupted by a slightly nasally voice.

"So then it's settled?" Hiccup asked. The Chiefs nodded. Their eyes flickering to Stoick, then Hiccup. Norberts comment forgotten.

The thought has just hit the Chiefs hard. They are leaving their home, for the mere thought of dragons? Questions and uncertainties entered each of their heads as they walked through the crowd and to the docks. Each Chief took a few guards with them as they went upon their assigned ships.

The sun was just starting to set as the ships took their leave from the Berkian shore. The Berkians watching them leave. The Council of Berk was put in charge as Stoick and Gobber boarded the flying ship. Even though it was reluctantly.

This is going to be the death of me, Stoick thought has the massive ship was pushed out to sea. Has the riders, him, Gobber and the Astrid's team set sail to Meredith's Gate. Yes, I will very much see Niflheim soon. He signed, and looked out to the ocean. The sun was setting.
