Chapter VI

The next day, Y/N wake up and got ready for school, she went to the kitchen to get something to eat and muttered a good morning to her father  when he asked her:

- What time did you arrive last night? - She turned to look at him.

- I thought we had agreed that I could come and go as I please.

- Yes, that's correct. - He said turning the newspaper down and looking at her. - But I thought I hear Mr Lawrence's voice last night. 

She choked on her coffee.

- It's not what you're thinking - She beguns to explain. - He just gave me a ride.

- Hmm. - He rumbles. - I want him only focused in the All Valley, he needs to mantain his title and I would hate to see something...- He stared at her. - or someone disturbing him.

Y/n felt as rage fill her body.

- Look, there's nothing happening between me and your precious champion. - She said the lasts words with sarcasm. - If me getting a ride home gets you so upset, why don't you give me a car? Now if you excuse me, I have to go or else I'll be late.

As she stormed out of the kitchen her father called her:

- Y/N. One more thing. - He said. - I said that, because I would hate to see you getting distracted too. - She turned to see him. - After all, the only thing that matters is the Cobra Kai name in the back of the champions's gi.

Y/N arrived at school and went direct to her English class, she wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone, her father's words echoing in her mind.

What metters is the Cobra Kai name.

She bitterly smiled at herself. 

He's never treat me like a daughter unless I win this shit.

Before she could think anything else a voice called her.

- Hey, Y/N, how are you? - Daniel asked her with a gentle smile sitting next to her.

- Hi Daniel. - She forced herself to smile. - I'm fine, how are you?

- I'm good. Look, I've been meeting to ask you something.. - He hesitates, blushing.

- What is it?

- You know I like Ali, like a lot. - He continues. - And I want to ask her out.

- That's great, Daniel! - Y/N said smiling sincerely at him.

- But I didn't want us to be alone, what if we run out of topic to talk about. So I was think if you don't want to come along.

Y/N's eyes grown bigger and she started laughting thinkig it was a joke. She stopped when she realized he wasn't laughting with her.

- You can't possibly be serius about this.

- Please, Y/N I will own you big time, I will do anything. You can bring someone with you.

- Like a double date? - He nodded. - And you will own me one? - He nodded again. - Well, I'm not  promising anything but I'll think about it.

- Thanks, Y/N you're the best!

- Now let me ask you something, have you asked Ali, yet?

He blushed and tried to explain but she just laughed.

After that, Y/N had History with Bobby, Dutch and Miller. When the boys noticed that she wasn't okay they started provoking her until she smiled and told them to shut up. She saw that Billy stared at her most of the class, but didn't have the courage to talk to her since she was sitting next to the Cobras. She couldn't blame him, but she felt disappointed.
