"That was delicious. A grilled cheese sandwich is exactly what the doctor ordered." I say rubbing my stomach. Tammy chuckles, "Well I'm glad you enjoyed it. The other kids don't like it when I add meat to it." I roll my eyes. "Well, I think it's a brilliant idea to add ham. It just makes it better." I say with a goofy grin on my face. "What do you plan on doing now?" Tammy asks. "Well, I plan on going down to the library and researching something. It'll probably be over the gods and goddesses." She nods, "Just be careful the stories from the gods can be a bit... wrong." I look at her confused, "What do you mean?"  She sighs. "What I mean is that some aren't for younger audiences." I roll my eyes. "I am much more mature than most kids my age," I  say with slight annoyance. "Well I know you are but still be careful." She tells me. I nod and say goodbye.

I walk through the hallway and down the basement stairs. It takes a bit of looking but I found the mythological section. There are a lot of different ones. There is Polynesian, Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and a lot more. But I am looking for our mythology. It's called Glaephian Mythology. It's a very interesting combination of all of the others. I eventually find 'Glaephian Mythos: Gods, Goddesses, and Their Stories Volume Two'. It is exactly what it sounds like. It's about the gods and their most popular stories. Volume two has more Goddesses than anything. I'm looking to do more research about my mom, but there are a lot of different gods to go over. There's Zeus and Markeus. They are two of the four brothers who rule over the many worlds, and Markeus is in control of the 'Dark' gods, while Zeus is in control of the people in Glaephia and the 'Light' Gods. Zeus also rules over the heavens while Markeus stands by his side. They are both pretty powerful as the gods of gods. Next is Janus, The god of lies and deception. He is a dark god and is Markeus's right-hand man. He also rules over the Shadows and demons. Then there is Hermes. He is the messenger god. He is powerful because he can travel at the speed of light between worlds and even dimensions. He also rules over all sorts of creatures. Then there is Selene, the Moon Goddess, and my mother. She rules over the werewolves vampires and witches. She controls mates and the moon's stages. Then there is Oizys. She is the goddess of anxiety, grief, depression, and misery. I pray to her quite often. Those are my favorites. But I need to learn about Selene. I open the index and see Her section is on page 312. I flip pages until I get to her section "Selene: The Moon Goddess. Perfect." I sit on the couch in the basement next to the brightest light and start reading.

Okay from what I learned my mother is a very powerful person. She rules with stern love for all creatures. She is the goddess you pray to if you need advice about soulmates. And did I mention she is the most powerful Goddess among the gods? She has the ability to give mates out to all species. She has always been associated with motherhood and children, and Her symbol is a crescent moon. A bit of the back story is as follows: She was created in the very beginning. She loves to watch children grow, only to be saddened by the struggle when they left the nest. So she decides that she will make a child, named Orion, immortal. It didn't go as planned, and he became immortal, except with the blessing came a curse. He was forced to age despite being immortal. Not liking how he was suffering in old age, she kills him and makes him into a constellation. He forever lives watching from the heavens. It's now named the Orion Belt after the myth.

Wow. Mom sure is... something, I think to myself. My stomach growls and I look at the clock on the wall. 7:39 pm. It reads. Crap I missed Self Defense. I get up, yawn, and stretch, feeling all my bones pop. I walk up the stairs and to the kitchen door where I was swarmed by Athena and James. "Where were you? You missed Self Defense. We were worried." I smile awkwardly, "Well, I was researching my mother. To know if she cares about her children. But I got nothing." They both sigh. "I'll let it slide for now. Just don't make it a habit of it, ok?" I nod, "I know what it's like searching for your parents and knowing their legacy. I didn't know my father until he found me. And once you find him, let's hope he'll embrace you with open arms. But for now, it's not your time, yet." I nod and hug her. "Thanks, Auntie A. It means a lot," I say and hug her. I feel safe in her strong embrace. I nuzzle in her neck and relax.

It was a few minutes before we pulled apart. We open the door and see two large pots of chili. "Hey, Davi!" It was Chelsea, "I made chili. Regular or spicy?" I immediately say, "Regular. And no cheese. I'm lactose intolerant." Her eyebrows shoot up in surprise. "Why didn't you tell us?" Auntie A said beside me. "Well all it does is give me an upset stomach and honestly I forgot to tell you guys." I shrug. Auntie A sighs. "Well, are you allergic to anything else?" I think for a second. "Walnuts. any other nut is good. It's just walnuts."  She nods and teleports a file in her hand. "I have files of everyone's allergies. Rather its medication, food, or even a scent." She opens it and writes something before teleporting it away. "Anyway, you need rest. So eat up and head straight to bed. You have a lot of work tomorrow." I nod and we all talk and eat. I got to know the other kids. There's Starlight, who is a witch demon hybrid. There is Sky who is a vampire witch and demon hybrid. And lastly, there is Joshua who I found out is Auntie A's kid and he is a full-blooded warlock, just like his dad. Josh is also trans-FTM. I won't say his dead-name out of respect. Josh and I get along great. He kinda reminds me of Charity. Reading and Transformers are their obsessions. And Josh still enjoys My Little Pony. We both geek out at lunch talking about the fourth season that is finally airing. I wonder what friends I'll make next.
