Waking up in the new camp was unfamiliar. Sliding off my cot i looked down to see sara playing with her bear.
"Good morning sara" i said placing a kiss on her head.
"Morning mama"
"Why haven't you explored the new camp yet?" I asked putting my hair into a low bun.
"I wanted you to come with me" sara said nervously.
"Oh, alright" I smiled. "Why don't you sit outside the tent while mama gets changed.
Sara nodded stepping out of the tent guarding any peeking toms or peeking Micah's from looking in.
I changed into my maroon shirt and black skirt slipping on my boots tying them up. I opened the tent and looked down at sara.
"Any lurking eyes Little Levine?" I asked as she pointed towards the grinning blonde leant against the tree the tent was propped up against.
I sighed. "Micah you gross man"
"Oh come on you can't judge a man for wanting a little peek" micah whined.
I rolled my eyes. "Me and sara are going to look around camp you can join us if you'd like" I took Sara's hand as we started walking around camp navigating where each wagon was placed.
"Mama do you see jack?" Sara asked looking around.
"Im guessing his mama is keeping him inside their tent for a bit, he'll be out soon. Why don't you go look for your uncle Sean" I suggest.
"Okay!" Sara said running towards sean sleeping against a rock with a shot gun beside him.
"Sean!" She shouted jumping onto him.
"Ah! Wha? Im up"
"Come play with me Uncle sean!"
"Alright lass" sean chuckled getting off the ground being pulled away from guard duty which hosea wasn't to happy about.
I giggled watching the two run around the camp. Sean looked like a little kid when he played with sara, it brought a smile to my face when i saw them fooling around.
"You better take me away from this man before I slaughter him!" Sadie yelled. Looking around the tree i saw Arthur holding sadie back as she kicked her feet and waved her arms around.
"Calm down princess lets head into town and grab sone supplies" Arthur said placing her down as they walked towards a wagon.
"Can I join y'all?" I asked running up towards them.
"Yea why not, we might need more hands to load the supplies.
"Great" I said hoping into the back of the wagon as arthur and sadie sat in the drivers seat.
Arthur cracked the reins of the horses as they set off out of camp. Riding to town was calming, the surrounding area was cute country and the town was even cuter as it was small and homey, but it was real dusty.
Arthur rode the wagon up to the general store as me and sadie hopped out of the wagon to go grab the supplies.
"What do we need to grab?" I asked as sadie had a list in her hands.
"Some tonics, medical supplies, and a few creates of beer"
"Alright, ill grab the tonics and you grab the medical supplies then we can both get the beer crates and maybe if there's some money left over we can buy some new outfits" I suggest.
"Deal" sadie smiled as we entered the general store.
We loaded up most of the things on the list and still had a few dollars left so sadie and I looked through the catalogue and bought a new outfit. Sadie bought a yellow shirt and black jeans where I bought a white top and black striped town pants. Walking out of the dressing room sadie and I both looked like we could kill men with one look. I felt powerful. Exiting the general store arthur was a bit stunned at our new looks but he didn't question it to much.
