"This framework is not compatible" Stark informed
"The genetic coding tower's at ninety-seven percent" Banner replied "you have got to upload that schematic in the next three minutes"
"What the hell are you doing?" Nadia spoke up
Stark and Banner stopped what they were doing, watching as Nadia, Steve and the Maximoff twins walked into the lab,
"I'm gonna say this once" Steve said, his helmet and mask off of his head
"How about nonce?" Stark asked, sarcasms in his voice
"Shut it down!" Nadia ordered
"Nope, not gonna happen" walking over to a monitor
"You don't know what you're doing" Steve said
"And you do?" Banner asked "she's not in your head?" pointing to Wanda
"No" Nadia replied "it's not possible anymore"
"I know you're angry" Wanda said, looking at him
"Oh, we're way past that" Banner replied, looking at her "I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade"
"Banner, after everything that's happened . ." Steve trailed off
"That's nothing compared to what's coming!" Stark spoke up
"You don't know what's in there!" Wanda replied
"This isn't a game" Steve said
Nadia's power suddenly built up in her hands, raising them over her head before throwing them toward the floor, causing the wires and pipes to detach from the cradle, Pietro using his speed to assist in destroying some of the equipment. Due to the commotion, all conversation stopped, eyes turning toward Nadia and Pietro,
"No, no" Pietro said, sarcasm in his voice "go on. You were saying?"
A gunshot filled the air, the glass shattering beneath his feet, causing him to fall into the floor,
"Pietro!" Wanda exclaimed
"What?" Barton asked, looking down at Pietro "you didn't see that coming?"
"I'm rerouting the upload" Stark said
Steve threw his shield toward him, which ricocheted off of the metal in the lab. A hand from the Ironman suit shot on Stark's hand, a beam of light shooting toward Steve, which landed on his chest, throwing him back. A violet blast threw Stark back as well, Banner grabbing a hold of Wanda, pinning one hand behind her back, an arm around her neck before she could use her abilities.
"Go ahead, piss me off" Banner said angrily
The torso of the Ironman suit attached itself to starks body, just as Steve attempted a superman punch toward him, only to be thrown back by another blast, Nadia crossing her arms just as one was thrown her way. Wanda used her abilities, her scarlet hues moving through her body and forcefully pushing Banner away from her, turning around and pushing him back even further. Suddenly, Thor and Loki entered the lab, the God of Mischief and Lies hurrying over to Nadia, who was helping Steve to his feet. Thor's eyes were on the cradle, running over to it and jumping on it, raising his hammer in the air, calling to the lightning. Bright streaks followed his hammer,
"Wait!" Banner yelled
But he didn't listen, moving the hammer toward the cradle, allowing the electrical currents to enter it, Loki shielding Nadia's eyes due to the brightness, but she placed a hand on his arm, watching as Thor sent powerful bolts of lightning into the cradle. He pulled the hammer away, still standing on the cradle, looking at the object that lay inside, everyone watching as well. Steve took a small step closer to Nadia, even as a bright light began to emit from the cradle, the super soldier and God of Mischief and Lies shielding their soulmate just as an explosion filled the air, throwing the God Of Thunder back away from it. He landed with a grunt, a figure rising up from the cradle and kneeling down on the foot of it, everyone watching as his head rose, eyes connecting with Wanda's, for a few moments before he slowly stood. The figure looked around at the others, his eyes landing on Nadia, lingering for a moment longer before looking at Thor. He flew over to him, Thor ducking and throwing him toward the ofher room, the figure crashing through the glass, stopping himself in front of a large window that showed the night life of New York.
Thor stood on his feet, Steve jumping up and landing on the upper level, shield in hand, Nadia's feet leaving the floor, silently landing next to him, the God of Thunder holding out a hand, preventing them from advancing. Nadia wasn't sure if the figure was looking at the nightlife, or his reflection, but Thor released the handle of his hammer as a suit formed around the figure, which hovered over to them, landing on his feet.
"I'm sorry" he spoke up, his voice resembling Jarvis "that was . . odd" looking at Thor "thank you"
He looked at the red cape Thor had worn, moving his shoulders slightly, causing his own cape to form, flowing down to his ankles,
"Thor, you helped create this?" Steve asked
"I've had a vision" Thor replied "a whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at it's center is that" pointing to the gem in the figures head
"What, the gem?" Banner asked
"It's the Mind Stone" Loki informed "it's one of the six Infinity Stones, the greatest power in the universe"
"Unparalleled in its destructive capabilities" Thor added
"Then why would you bring it to . .?" Steve trailed off
"Because Stark is right" he replied
"Oh, it's definitely the end times" Nadia muttered, sarcasm in her voice
"The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron" Thor said
"Not alone" the new being added
"Why does your vision sound like Jarvis?" Steve asked
"We . . we reconfigured Jarvis' matrix" Stark replied "to create something new"
"I think I've had my fill of new" eyeing him
"Do you think I'm a child of Ultron?" The Vision asked, looking at Steve
"You're not?" his eyebrows furrowing slightly
"I'm not Ultron" shaking his head slightly "I'm not Jarvis. I am . . I am"
"I looked in your head" Wanda spoke up, taking a few steps toward him "and saw annihilation"
"Look again" he replied, looking at her
"Yeah" Barton scoffed "her seal of approval means jack to me"
"Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from the Mind Stone" Thor spoke up "and they're nothing compared to what it can unleash. But with it on our side . ."
"Is it?" Steve asked, then looking at Vision "are you? On our side?"
"I don't think it's that simple" he replied
"Well it better get real simple real soon" Barton commented
"I am on the side of life" looking at them "Ultron isn't, he will end it all"
"What's he waiting for?" Stark asked
". . For us" Nadia spoke up
"Where?" Banner asked
"Sokovia" Barton answered "he's got Nat there too"
". . If we're wrong about you" taking a few steps toward Vision "if you're the monster that Ultron made you to be . ."
"What will you do?" Vision asked, looking at the others, realizing they will destroy him "I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique, and he's in pain. But that pain will roll over the earth, so he must be destroyed. Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net, we have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are, and not what you intended. So there may be no way to make you trust me. But we need to go"
Nadia raised an eyebrow as he held up Thor's hammer, the god taking his weapon in confusion, Vision walking off, the others starring in shock.
