"Uh huh. I was thinking about asking her out for real this time after the event." The familiar voice of Taeyong said with hands in his pockets.
Hyunjin just wanted to punch the smile off of his face.
As they already passed by him, he fished out his phone and sent a quick text.

Hwang in-law 🦙: did yena tell you about the dance academy event?
Chan hyung 🐺: All she mentioned was that she was gonna be performing. Why?
Hwang in-law 🦙: the jerk's gonna be there as well.
Hwang in-law 🦙: he was the one that recommended her to join.
Hwang in-law 🦙: think you can talk to the trainer to scoot me in?
Chan hyung 🐺: As expected from my reliable future in-law. I'll see what I can do and let you know later.
After a few minutes of waiting, Hyunjin got another text from Chan.
Chan hyung 🐺: All good. Keep an eye on my sister.
Chan hyung 🐺: Not like it's hard for you though.
He smiled and just continued to doodle on his notebook before the next class starts.

"Y-you're gonna be in the event too?" A shocked Yena asked and Hyunjin just crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow.
Not only did she not expect him to be here, she was shocked that they were even talking to each other in the first place with him being the one to approach first.
"What? You think you're the only one who is good enough?" He remarked earning an eye roll from the girl.
"I didn't mean it like that." She said and Hyunjin sees her flushed face again after weeks of not having direct conversations.
'God I missed this.'
He was ready to punch himself as he almost said that out loud.
"Good. You better do well though, we're doing the same song as you girls."
Yena looked at him in confusion.
He just sighed and asked her to play the song again.
As soon as the music started, Hyunjin just started dancing, mesmerizing the girl next to him while they were both checking his moves in front of the big mirror.
