FLASHBACK 
A flustered Hyunjin was on his way to his locker to grab a small box and put it in his pocket. 
It's gonna be the end of freshman year and he mustered up the courage to confess his feelings to Yena.
He has never really expressed his feelings for her or gave her any signs as he is really not brave enough to do it yet, and it led to him being awkward around her. 
He just intends to at least tell her how he feels, thinking it can be a solution to erase the awkwardness away, even it meant being rejected. 
He put one hand in his pocket, fidgeting on the box, trying to rehearse what he would say to the girl but he stopped in his tracks when he heard her voice.
Hyunjin quickly stood behind a wall and saw Yena talking to Seojun, one of the seniors he played basketball with before. 
They were friends and he looked up to him as he seemed like a friendly sunbae but seeing him trying to get close to the girl he likes made him annoyed.
"I don't have any plans on that day so I'm okay with it sunbae." If Yena wasn't talking to a guy, he would want to go to her right now and squish her shy face. 
"That's great. I'm looking forward to it. I'll treat you to lunch." The bastard said with a confident smile with hands on his pockets. 
He gently touched her head and Yena bowed a bit before scurrying away. 
Hyunjin can feel his blood boiling at the latter's attitude but held back when he heard laughing from the other side.
Seojuns friends were also hiding in a corner and were high fiving him with teasing smiles. 
"Yah as always, he always gets the pretty girls." One of his friends said.
"She's just playing hard to get, she'll definitely agree to go on a date with me." He spoke while chuckling like a pervert. 
"I bet you to give me half of your allowances for a month that she's gonna agree to be his girlfriend after their date." One said and was taking out his phone to write down notes on their sick bet. 
"I bet she's gonna be the first one to kiss him once Seojun here flirts with her nonstop during their date."
"Yah but if she won't be your girlfriend, give me her number after."
They were laughing hysterically and Hyunjin couldn't take it anymore.
He confronted them with a deadly glare.
