Ok let's start off with a series of unfortunate events. I have not read the full book series, but I have watched the Netflix one and it's usually very accurate to the books.
AND LET ME TELL YOU, I LOVED THIS FRIKING DARK SERIES. I know it probably scarred some young child who wanted to watch anyways, (you know who you are) but I loved it a loooot.
I think someone should've known I would've turned out like this, because my favorite shows as a kid were
DUMBO (the original one) (and also I didn't know about the weird racial stuff in that movie cuz I was smoll child, and it's DEFINITLY not my favorite movie now, but that's a whole other can of worms.) dumbo was DARK. an elephant who was ostracized since birth, only loved by his mother. And then his mother gets thrown into jail and he is lost and without anyone who loves him, except this mouse dude. AND THEN THEY BOTH GET DRUNK TOGETHER LIKE OML WHY DID MY PARENKTS LET ME WATCH THAT MOVIE.
another favorite of toddler me was DORA THE EXPLORER.

how did I like that show? I see a bunch of people saying they used to hate the show, but I loved it. Just another sign that I was going to grow up with a DARK TWISTED SOUL (jk lol)

Ok so. Let's talk about the relationship stuffs. Cus it's my book and I can do that. First of all, Violet is in love with this Duncan donuts dood, right? And then she goes and FALLS IN LOVE WITH HIS BROTHER LIKE WHAT THE HECKIN HECK VIOLET.
But also I like quigley+Violet more than Duncan+Violet 🤧🤧🤧
And Klaus is really really bad at flirting... like come on man.
"Are you dangerous?" Asks hot sea captain lady
"I uhm well uhm I mean uh maybe- may- maybe a little?"
OMG KLAUS SHUT THE FRICK UP YOUR WORSE AT FLIRTING THAN DIPPER AND AMITY COMBINED
also the way that lemony doesn't know all the people's names and calls them, "henchperson of intermediate gender," and "the man with a beard and no hair and the woman with hair but no beard," is clever and realistic because he wouldn't know all these people's names from his reasearch.
And I like how lemony says, "I don't really know what happened" for some parts of it, but in the background there's something happening and you can infer what it is, even if he doesn't know.
Like when he says "me and my associates haven't been able to find the cause of the fire..."
But in the background there's a laser beam pointing at stuff and making it catch on fire, and you can infer that count Olaf did it.
And also there's a lot of room to write fan fiction in it. Like, how did sunny Klaus and Violet fare all those years on the island? How did they end up back in the city? How did they figure out how to take care of a baby? Are they and Lemony Snicket all that's left of VFD?
AAAARAAGHA ok I'm done talking about this stuffs now.

Uhhhmhmhmmhhhhhmhmhhhhh Warrior cats.
I've only read the first two books in the main series and I can tell that it's going to be an OK series. Nothing special. Just ok.
*spoilers for the first two warrior cats books in the prophicies begin series up ahead SCROLL UNTIL YOU SEE ANOTHER MEME IF YOU WANT TO AVOID THEM*
OKK SO the first book was good.
The world the cats live in is very interesting and I liked Firepaw and Graypaw and the dynamics everyone had, and the tensions between shadowclan were cool too, but also the leader (I forgot his name) was defeated WAYYY too easily.
The ending was good too, and pretty satisfactory.
But in the second book... it's worse. THE ENDING WAS LITERALLY JUST FIREHEART AND GRAYFEATHER BEING FRIENDS AGAIN. LIKE YOU CALL THAT A GOOD ENDING? I JUST— AGGH.
you can end a book with two characters being friends again but...
And I could make a whole list of what's wrong with that book but I'm not gonna cus that would be rude.
Also is CloudKit gonna grow up to be mean and stuff? Ik he was just hunting cus he was trying to help his clan, but gosh. He's either gonna end up like Fireheart's first apprentice (I forgot her name too 💅💅💅) or like the shadowclan and riverclan leader peeps.
I mean, the clans honestly have WAYY too many rules and if the other clans need food maybe you should help them?? Like at least a little?
