AN: Trigger Warning: Swears, Potential Lemons, Violence, Graphic (kinda) and Shitty Writing.

Luffy's about 20 in this story. Robin, Nami, Alvida, Vivi and Hancock will be the same age as him. Also, he's around 6'3 and pretty handsome. Just saying it now so you won't be confused later on. Also he's a little OOC.

Also I'm British so I'll use British spellings.

Ready now? Good.

Strawhat Luffy wasn't a man who frequently knew the pain of loss.

He'd won almost every fight he had. From psychotic warlords to thunder gods, to an army of zombies.

But as he watched the bloody, beaten, burnt corpses of his nakama be trampled on, he felt something he hadn't felt since Ace died.

Despair.

Akainu smirked in smug victory as he watched the stupid Mugiwara struggle to force himself off the ground.

"Do you see now, Strawhat? Absolute Justice always prevails. You never should have tried. Now you'll end up like your brother!" He cackled, preparing his magma fist.

Wouldn't it be so poetic that the brother of that vermin died like he did?

That unleashed something in Luffy, who screamed in fury as he charged the Fleet Admiral.

It was in vain however, as he was hit away effortlessly, leading him to tumble over a pile of Marine bodies.

Coincidentally, that led him to face the body of Robin, the only one left unburnt. Instead, she had a sword wound straight through her chest. But she still had a peaceful smile on her beautiful face.

"I must say, I respect your tenacity Strawhat. And out of that respect, I'll send you to your nakama. Now stay still."

As Akainu trudged over, Luffy's breathing stilled.

He'd accepted death, and he'd be with his friends, like that bastard said. He might as well die with that calm smile on his face, like Robin and Ace before her.

'I'm sorry guys. I let you down. This is my fault.' He let a tear drop.

He heard the magma bubble and head towards him, but the pain never came.

Instead, he saw Akainu's corpse in twisted agony on the floor, blood seeping out onto the floor.

It was a solemn reminder to Luffy that he was the same species as that scum. He bled the same and breathed the same and ate the same.

But that wasn't what he was most worried about.

He looked in terror at a blonde woman with red lips, smooth curves and a tall posture, standing over the Fleet Admiral's body.

He couldn't force out the words to speak to her, so it was a relief when she spoke first.

"Hi there, Luffy-chan." She smiled as if she wasn't standing in the middle of a ruined war zone. In fact, it was almost disrespectful to everyone who had died.

But his fear took over his anger, as he shook in terror.

"You must be wondering what's happening, huh? Well I can tell you that." She strolled over to him, stepping over the bodies.

"You see, it's not you or your crew's time to go. The higher ups won't allow it. So, you have a choice. You can start your adventure over again, to make sure you do the right choices. Oooorrr you could keep living in this timeline and probably kill yourself. I know it's abrupt, but I gotta know. Restart everything...or death." She walked behind him, putting her head onto his muscular shoulder.
