AN: Time for some Smokey-san!

BTW I know that one Berry (Or Beli) is worth 1 Yen roughly, but in this it's worth around about £0.01 GBP (not a massive increase but still) because Yen is a really weak currency and I think its better for even smaller pirates to be worth SOMETHING. Yes, this does mean a pirate worth 2 million Berries is £20,000 but the World Government have unlimited money and don't have to worry about inflation because the Berry is a universal currency AND they are quite literally the entire World so nobody cares about it.

Also Tashigi bashing, I hate that bitch.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Staying on the same ship as her effective slave of 5 years was an awkward affair for Alvida.

Her and Coby had never really talked, and neither really wanted to. She liked the brat, and with each passing day on the Merry, she detested her old self that much more.

As she came to realise, she'd captured a really sweet and optimistic boy, and though he was shrimpy, he had grand goals to acconplish, goals she believed in as much as he did.

Even watching him have fun with Usopp and Luffy was hard, his only true enjoyment was when she wasn't too involved in his life.

She intended on rectifying that.

Life was going on as normal, everyone doing their usual hobbies and/or job.

Zoro was lifting, Sanji was cooking and Luffy was... actually I'm not sure what Luffy was doing.

He seemed to be tied to the figurehead of the Merry, gnashing at the sea with his teeth like a rabid dog. He had a burlap bag with him, full of dead fish with peculiar bite marks in them. Those 2 things were probably related.

While he was doing his abnormal fishing, Nami's loud voice shouted from the crow's nest. "Land ahoy!"

Everyone snapped their attention to the incoming silhouette of land, getting closer with each second.

Everyone cheered and prepared themselves to dock, including Luffy who swung back up and handed the bitten fish to a disgusted Sanji.

"How do you think I can cook this, idiot?!" He sniffed the bag and jumped back from the repugnant burlap.

Luffy shrugged. "I dunno. Give it to Zoro or something."

Sanji had a twisted grin spread over his face and he fist bumped Luffy. "This is why you're my Captain."

Luffy laughed, and walked past the blonde, looking towards the shrimpy little pinkette.

"Hey, Coby! Pack everything you have, it's time you start your dream! It's time you join the Marines!" Luffy grinned, though a little sad to announce his departure.

But Coby looked beyond excited. "Can't wait!"

They docked at the harbour of a bustling town, surprisingly no pirates in sight.

A few Marine ships were dotted here and there, of course making Usopp, Nami and Coby a little too on edge for comfort, but seeing their Captain and other crewmates so confident emboldened them, even if it was just slightly.
