AN: Sanji now. This chapter will start to progress the story more, and it'll probably be as long as the last chapter, maybe even longer. Sorry for that, but it's necessary to move the story forward.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the chapter!

Luffy was wondering about the voice inside his head.

No, not the meat obsessed and fairly stupid voice, the dark one. The one that told him to kill. The one he didn't like.

He assumed it was connected to his new Devil Fruit, since it was never there when he had his Gum Gum powers. And that was a mystery in itself.

He knew it involved black flame and had a dark voice with it, but that was it. Oh, and it was a Logia. But he didn't know what to do with a Logia.

Like he knew you were intangible, except for Armament Haki, and you could infinitely control your element. The problem was he didn't know what his element was.

It was clearly fire related, but Ace and Sabo's element was fire, so it couldn't be that.

It looked a little like that bastard Akainu's magma, but it was less rigid, so it couldn't be that either.

Then, he had an idea.

Since all Logia users have the body made of their element, they could change it at will to represent said element.

So, in theory, if Luffy thought about his black flame, his body would turn into that too.

He began to think about the black flame he used against Morgan, the Buggy Pirates and Kuro, and nothing happened the first few tries.

But he kept persevering, and eventually his hand sort of enveloped itself in fire, not entirely, but enough to call it a partial success.

He grinned, punching the air in joy at his success, which unleashed a torrent of flame that thankfully didn't hit anything AND nobody noticed.

He sighed in relief, looking at his fist again, now fully covered in the dark fire. He had to be careful with it.

But at least now he sorta understood the element.

It was like really, really hot fire. Like really hot. It reminded him a little of Hellfire.

Actually, that sounded the coolest to him, so that's what he'd call it. And he could call the Fruit the Blaze-Blaze Fruit. An epic name for an epic power.

Though he did miss his old powers, they were hella useful, pardon the pun. But a Logia was always the most powerful Fruit type, it always had been and always will be.

Aside from Mythical Zoans that is, but there were like 4 people Luffy knew who had them. And Luffy knew a lot of people.

Besides, with this Blaze-Blaze Fruit, it'd make a lot of things easier, if they happened like before. Like Enies Lobby and Marineford.

It seemed to work short and long range, and could work in a concentrated form or wide spread damage. It was truly versatile.

And when he got to the Baratie, he could make an impression on Mihawk and maybe get a higher bounty earlier.

That would be cool.

Unlike Luffy, Nami's thoughts were anything but positive.

He wouldn't be happy she was so late. No, he'd be furious.

But if she brought enough treasure, he wouldn't punish her, would he?
