"More than friends"(William afton x reader )

A new perspective?

"Ah.. alright.." you looked down as you fidgeted with your hands

"So what can you recall from that night" he questioned

"Well.. I was in the kitchen with William and his kids, we had just finished dinner"
you thought for a moment, everything was kind of hazy

"There was a knock at the door, William went to check, it was Clara"

The officer nodded "and what happened after that?"

You began to pick at the skin around your fingernails as your anxiety built up inside of you

"She came in screaming about how I had taken her family.. she grabbed Evan and Elizabeth- s-she tried to take them.." tears pricked your eyes as you remembered what happened

"I attempted to defend them, and myself, but she attacked me, she grabbed a knife from the drawer and she cut me" you paused again, lifting your wrapped arm

"I kicked her and managed to get the knife from her.. at this point I had lost alot of blood and I could barely move.. she came at me again.. I-.. I didn't mean to stab her.. I was trying to defend myself, I s-swear I- I would never-.." you started to have a panic attack, your fingers had some blood on them from the constant picking

The officers nodded "thank you for the information, we will go now, you have a nice night" the one officer smiled at you

"Can..can you send William in here.. please" you asked, your voice shaking

"Of course.." they walked out, you heard them call his name and ask him to come in

William rushed into the room

"Are you ok darling??" He sat on the side of your bed
You immediately hugged him tightly

"I didn't mean to do it..  I didn't want to kill her, I didn't meant to.. I'm sorry.." you kept muttering those phrases over and over again

William hugged you back, gently pulling you into his lap, gently rubbing your back

"I know love, it's not your fault.. it's okay, I know you didn't mean to.." he sighed, planting a kiss on your forehead "Don't worry about that okay?.. you did what you needed to do" he murmured

"But.. I killed their mother.." you sniffled

"Y/n.. they don't consider her their mother.." he paused, holding your face in his hands

"They.. dont?"

"No, They think of you as their mother" he smiled as he gently rubbed your cheeks with his thumbs

"Really..?"

"Yes, really"

You chuckled for a moment

"So.. does that make me your wife?" You smiled

"Hmm.. I guess it does" he murmured as he kissed your cheek

You blushed slightly as you relaxed into his touch, calming down
"Good.." you smiled

"Now- I wanna see my kids" you smiled slightly, looking up to see a slightly flustered William

"Alright love, " he chuckled, making his way to door
Whispering something
All three came back into the room, liz and Evan instantly crawling onto the hospital bed and hugging you

Michael hesitantly stood to the side
You gently patted an open space on the bed, he reluctantly moved and sat on the bed with his siblings

You smiled "I love you guys.." you attempted to give all of them a tight hug, but most of the strength in your arm was gone

The door opened again and the nurse walked in
"Aw.. " she paused "oh, you'll be discharged by tomorrow morning, seeing that your arm is healing okay" she smiled at you

You nodded and she walked out, you leaned back in the bed and looked up at will, a look of pure adoration in his eyes

"Yk- he really likes you" michael whispered in your ear
You chuckled
"Oh really-? He does?"

William looked confused
"What did he say?"

"Oh nothing~" you smirked

"We like to trick him sometimes by sayin stuff like 'oh hi y/n" when we're around him at work, he gets to excited to see you" michael snickered

You covered your mouth, trying not to Burst out laughing
"That's- so cute"

"Oh come on- what is that li-ile twat saying to you?" You could hear his accent get heavier, signaling he was getting upset

"Oh don't be such a child will" you snickered, reaching over and grabbing his hand

"It's nothing bad, honest" you smiled, squeezing his hand gently
He rolled his eyes, but sighed, giving up on asking
"Alright, alright, as much as I'm enjoying this happy moment, I have to take them, and myself home, will you be alright here by yourself love?"

You nodded "take them out of the room and come back for a second, I have something I want to tell ya" you smirked

He gently pried all the kids off you and nudged them out, coming back over to you
"What is it?"

"Come closer" you murmured

He leaned over a bit

You grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and tugged him in for a kiss, not anything heated, just a loving kiss
He had to quickly grab onto the bed frame to keep himself from falling, but kissed you back after a few seconds

After a few moments, you pulled away, letting him go "I love you, William afton" you whispered softly

You could see the blush spread across his face

"I love you too y/n" he murmured, placing a kiss on the top of your head

" I'll be back as soon as i can to pick you up tomorrow, alright?"

You smiled brightly and nodded
"Okay-!" You gave him a slight wave as he left the room

You laid there, staring at the ceiling, the slight beeping of your heart monitor is all you could hear

I've never felt more uncomfortable..

You sighed, rolling over onto youre good side

On the bright side I got more cool scars to show off

You chuckled at your own thought

You closed your eyes, as you yawned, sleep finally taking over your body,

But not for long..
