Wills POV:
It's been days
He stat in y/ns hospital room, next to her bed, holding her hand as his thumb gently grazed over her knuckles
He hadn't left her room since she got in there after they operated and stitched her up, the steady beeping of the heart monitor was the only thing keeping him calm
I shouldn't have left them alone, I'm such an idiot..
The dark circles under his eyes had gotten worse from the lack of sleep, he had asked Henry to watch the kids because he couldn't leave y/ns side
He looked up as there was a knock at the door
"Is this y/n l/n's room?" The doctor asked
"Yes, is it" I muttered, slightly confused
"Ah, she has some visitors.." the doctor informed as he stepped aside, and two people walked in
Of course.. the only bastards I don't want to see..
Y/ns parents..
William glared at them as they came in
Her parents had never really liked him, or his parents,
"My baby-!" Her mother cried as she rushed over to y/ns other side, scanning her daughters injuries
She turned and gave William a death glare
"What did you do to my daughter" she hissed
"I didn't do anything, she got hurt, and I did my best to save her" I snapped back at her
But of course I'm lying.. it's my fault she's here.. but her parents can't know that
"Oh like I'm going to believe that- you've been hurting her since you became friends" she spat
William stood up, towering over y/ns mother by a lot,
"I'd never hurt y/n, I've done nothing but try to protect her since we met and that will never change. Every time she gets hurt you always blame me and honestly it's fucking annoying" I growled, I could hear my accent slipping but I didn't care
"You two insolent fucks didn't even ask me what happened and you're already pointing fingers. Now I'd appreciate if you'd shut up for the time you're here, you're quite annoying" I could feel the smug look form on my face as y/ns parents just scoffed as stayed quiet.
William return to his spot next to y/ns bed, yawning as he refused sleep
They all sat in silence for a bit untill y/ns father asked something
"..What are you to her..?" He muttered
I didn't even look at him, my gaze fixed on y/n "I'm her lover." I said flatly
"Her- what?! Excuse me??" Her mother gasped in shock
" no- there's no way we're letting y/n be with someone like you" her father snapped
"Y/n is 23 for fucks sake, you cant control who she dates or who she marries-!" I growled, glaring at both of them
Squeezing y/ns hand a bit
"We've been together for months, and it's been the best few months of my life, I've never been happier, my kids and I are finally a family again. I don't need either of you ruining this for me, I love her. And she loves me. You will not change that. Ever." I hissed
"..you really mean that will..?" I heard a very familiar voice, tears pricked the corners of my eyes as I turned to look
"Y/n.." I breathed, gazing in disbelief
"Hey dummy..How long have I been out..?" She chuckled weakly as she put her other hand over mine.
POV SWITCH :D y/n:
William hugged you, not too tightly as to not harm you.
"I thought I lost you.." he whispered, holding back from sobbing
"I wasn't gonna die will" you hugged him back
He squeezed you gently before pulling away, his hands making their way to your face, you lean into his touch, enjoying the warmth you haven't felt for a while, you smiled softly as you looked at him
" can I speak to my daughter" you heard an impatient tone, and looked over
"..mom..?" You murmured weakly
"Can we speak to her, alone." She looked at William
"No..William stays.." you muttered, your hands gripping his shirt
"You make him leave and I won't speak to you"
"..okay, fine" your mother sighed
"..Are you alright sweetie, what happened..?" She asked after a moment
"I'm fine, I..just fucked up and got hurt, nothing too bad.."
"Nothing too bad?? They called us saying you could've died"you heard the annoyance creep into her voice
"You go MIA for a few years and this is where we find you? With him-??" She snapped
You looked back at Will "guessing you told them about us?" You asked
"Yeah.. sorry love" he murmured
"Don't be sorry will" you smiled, lifting yourself up a bit to kiss him on the cheek
You turned back to your parents, your hands moving to hold Williams
"I'm dating will, and if you don't like that, well I don't give a fuck, I'm not your little girl anymore. I haven't been, this is exactly why I left and never told you. You always try to dictate my life and tell me what I can and cannot do... honestly.. whyd you even come visit me in the first place, to yell at me? Tell me things I did wrong? Blame me for things you caused??" You spat as you glared at them
"You could've at least picked a better guy, William has done nothing but bring you harm-"
"Oh shut the fuck up, Jesus Christ, I wanted to wake up and not have to deal with you two,"
you paused, sitting up, wincing at the sharp pain in your stomach
"William hasn't brought me any harm, and you tell me to pick a 'better guy' who married the child abuser again? Oh that's right, you did.. I hate both of you, get out of here and never, and I mean never visit me again unless you have a damn good apology." You spat as you turned back to William
"Where are mikey,Liz and Evan, I wanna see my babies, they must be worried sick" you worriedly looked around at the spaces you hadn't looked at before and then out the door, your eyes eventually coming back to William
"You have kids?-"
