You sighed
"Yes, I have kids, and before you ask, they're not biologically mine, though I love them as if they were" you glared at your parents
"Oh thank god, I thought you had a child with him" your mother sighed with relief
You snickered, catching the attention of your parents
"Hey will- remind me to stay off my birth control when I get out of here" you winked at him
He chuckled and nodded "I'll keep it in mind" he smirked leaning over to kiss your cheek
Your parents looked at you with disgust before leaving the room
You burst out laughing, holding your stomach as the pain set in
"The kids are with Henry, I asked him to Take them for a bit.. I wasn't doing so well and I didn't want them to see me like that.." he gave you a soft smile
"Get them over here, I wanna see my children" you pouted
"Alright alright" William got up and left the room, coming back a few minutes later
-time skip-
"MUM-" three voices called in unison
"Ah- my lovely children" you smiled and laughed as they gathered around you,
"You're not gonna die right?" Elizabeth looked like she was ok the verge of tears
"You think I'd go that easily? Hell no, I'm not dying any time soon" you chuckled as you smiled at liz
"I'm just glad you're okay, I thought you were hurt"
Liz climbed up onto your hospital bed and hugged you, William went to stand up- a panicked look on his face, but you gave him an "it's alright" kind of look, and he sat back down
"Sorry mum.." liz mumbled
"It's alright hun, it's my own fault I got hurt, none of you blame yourselves"
They nodded

You had spent a few hours with the kids, just playing and talking, while not getting out Of bed, but Henry had come to pick them up
"I don't wanna gooo" Liz whined
"Cmon we have too, mum needs to rest" michael mumbled as he picked Liz up
"But dad gets to stayyy" she squirmed around in Michaels grasp
"That's because he can't live without her" he exaggerated his words as he laughed
"He can't leave her side, but we can" he pulled her to the door
"Bye mum"
"Bye bye mum"
"Bye bye.."
"We love you"
Your heart melted as they said that
"I love you all too, I'll be out of here faster than you know it, then we can egg the neighbors house again" you chuckled,
They giggled as they left the room, you waved to Henry, who waved back and wished you well, then he left with the kids
"Willll"
"Yes love?"
"Cmere" you moved over a bit, patting the empty space in your bed
"I cant do that, you're healing, if I lay there with you- you might-"
"Shh just come here" you cut him off, patting the empty space again and beckoning him over with your hand
"Alright, fine, but don't blame me if something happens to you while I'm up here" he murmured while he laid next to you, gently putting his arms around you
You winced at the pain for a moment but relaxed when William moved his arms up a bit, away from your wound
You leaned into him, taking in the warmth that you definitely weren't getting from this hospital room
"It's cold as hell in here" you muttered, pulling William closer
"Do you want me to bring you stuff from home?- at another time, obviously" he added after your grip tightened
"Yeah, please" you smiled
You cuddled with William, happy to just be there and alive, nothing more, nothing less
I should talk to him about.. the murders.. but/ not now.. I'm not gonna ruin this moment with him..
You snuggled closer, ignoring the pain in your abdomen as you decided to take a short nap

"How could you.."
Huh..?
"You befriended him?!"
You 'opened your eyes' to see 5 little kids standing in front of you
"Not again.." you muttered
"You're a Monster-!"
"Im sorry ok? There's nothing I can do for you guys.. that family needs me.. I cant do that to their father.. no matter how bad he really is.." you choked back a sob
You knew how much of a shitty person he really was.. you knew and you decided to be with him, now you must deal with the consequences of your actions
"Maybe if we make you feel the pain we felt.. if we take you away from your family.. you'll know how we feel.."
"What-? What do you mean!?" You panicked as they came closer to you "stay away from me-!" You cried
They grabbed you and pulled you forward, you looked back and saw, yourself? You were in the hospital bed, but something was wrong
Your stomach was covered in blood and there was no longer a steady beep of the heart monitor
William sat beside you panicking and calling for a doctor, his hands held your face as he tried to wake you, but his attempts failed
"..no- NO- DONT DO THIS- PLEASE-! i cant leave them-! I don't want to-!" You sobbed as you attempted to pull yourself from their grip, but nothing worked.
You watched as the doctors came in, ushering your sobbing lover out of the room, as they pronounced you dead, telling the time of your passing
".. I cant.. I cant be dead.. this.. cant be real.." you choked out
".. y/n-..!" You heard a muffled voice
".. will..?"
"I'm sorry.. please y/n.. come back to me.."
You looked around , you saw William, crying outside your room, you went over him, the children had faded off
You put your hand on his shoulder
"I want to go back.." you turned, making your way to your own body
"I told them I'm not fucking dying and some dead kids aren't changing that"
You backed up a bit
"Let.me.go-. BACK-!" You spat as you jumped at yourself.
