I'll Be(Luke Brooks)

Chapter 9

A/N: I am so sorry it takes forever for me to update, school has got me stressed and uninspired, but  it's almost summer for me and I'll try to update more!

It was the last lesson of the day, and it couldn't be going any slower. There was a substitute as a last minute fill in, because during lunch Mrs. Richardson's lunch didn't settle quite right with her stomach. So we were having a study hall. I was sitting next to Arabell and Jaylan texting Mikki and Luke , "Sorry for the interruption, but there is no tutoring or study hall club today, and that the band room is closed for maintenance. Thank you." the secretary spoke over the intercom.

I grinned, "Yes!" Arabell and Jaylan giggled at me. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, I checked it.

Luke: I won't get to spend time with you now :(

Me: Are you going to Bridget's tonight?

Luke: What does this have to do with spending time with you?

Luke can be so dopey, Daniel is rubbing off on him definitely.

Me: Just answer

Luke: Yea

Me: see you then hot stuff ;)

Luke: Hot stuff?

Me: Go with it

Luke: Okay...

For the rest of last period, I thought what I could wear to the party. When the bell rang, I practically ran out of the room to my locker. I shoved all my books I needed in my bag, and walked out of school. "Le- Le- Le Leilani!" someone chanted behind me. I turned and saw James, Jai, and Luke. I grinned, as they stood next to me. "So do you want a ride from Beau?" Jai asked. I thought, and decided walking sounded nice today.

"No, I'm going to walk, but thanks." Daniel walked out with his gym stuff. "Are you going to the gym?" I asked him.

He nodded, "Yes, I gotta look good for tonight." he rubbed his down his torso 'seductively'. I rolled my eyes. "Weirdo..." I muttered under my breath.

Beau then pulled up, and Luke face palmed himself, "SHIT! I forgot my maths stuff! Don't wait up." Luke told the boys, as he ran inside. I held in a laugh at his sudden urgency for his maths stuff.

"I'll see you boys later," I told them, as I started to walk.

"See you Lani!" They shouted, as the three got into Beau's car. The boys honked at me as they passed, and I laughed to myself. 

"Lani! Wait up!" I turned to see Luke jogging down the sidewalk, with no maths book or assignments. I grinned.

"Where's your maths?" I quirked an eyebrow. He wrapped his arms around my shoulder.

He smiled cheekily down at me, "In my locker." 

I wrapped an arm around his waist, "I thought you needed it?" 

He pecked my lips, "Well I guess I didn't?" I just giggled, as we walked home. 

I poked his cheek, "Suree.." he just laughed, and brought me closer than I thought was possible. We walked to my house just talking about school, video ideas, etc. "So who's meeting who?" I asked.

Luke grabbed my hands and intertwined them with his, "You and Skip will be meeting us at my house."

I smiled up at him, "Sounds good." I then leaned forward and kissed him. His hands dropped to my waist and my arms snaked around his neck. His lips molded to mine perfectly. He broke away and quickly kissed my lips once again.
