The next morning I woke up to my phone vibrating my pillow. I groaned groggily and checked who texted me. It was a good moring from Luke. I smiled and decided to go to the gym with Daniel like I have been for the past week. I got up and dressed into the same old uniform. I threw my hair up and put my usual eyeliner and mascara on. I texted Luke back, good morning and I would be seeing him at the gym. I walked out of my room, and saw Daniel and James still in there pajamas.

"Whoa, whoa- stop right there." Daniel rubbed his eyes and looked at me.

"Yes?" I asked.

"You are already ready, before US? Leilani Sahyounie. Ready before anyone in this house?" Daniel sounded shocked.

I playfully pushed his head, as I made my way into the kitchen, "I'm just in a really good mood today." I shrugged. I looked back at the two and they were lounging on the sofa. "What are you two doing? Aren't you going to the gym?" I  was actually really excited to go to the gym, mainly to see Luke. I put some grapes into a small sandwich bag to eat at the gym.

"I was thinking about skipping today. James and I stayed up half of the night , playing Fifa." Daniel said while yawning. James nodded. What?!

I grabbed my bag, "I guess I'll see you in school then under achievers." I said sarcastically. I took my phone out and dialed Luke's number. It rang a couple of times, and when it picked up; I could hear commotion in the background, as I walked out and stood on my porch.

"He-hello?" I finally heard a voice speak.

"Hi?" I asked uncertain of who it was.

"Oh hey Lans!" It was Jai. "If you wanted to talk to Luke, he's busy fighting with Beau at the moment."

I laughed a little, "No, I just called him to ask if Beau could pick me up? By the sounds of it, probably not?" I assumed.

"Definitely not, why would we want to pick up a loser like you anyway?" I could practically hear the teasing grin forming on Jai's face. I heard the yelling stop in the background.

"Who's a loser?" I heard Luke ask in the background. I smiled.

"Lani." Jai said nonchalantly.

"Ewwww that ratchet girl. No way, uhhhhhh uhhh." Beau exaggerated.

I scoffed, "Fine be that way. Just remember when I get a car, I won't be lending you a ride."

"J. K. girl. We'll see you in five." Jai said.

"K. K. girl." I mocked him.

Like Jai said, five minutes later the boys pulled up. I walked up, and opened the back door and slipped in.

Daniel's POV

Lani was acting weird today. I'm glad she's in a good mood, but she usually would take in offers of sleeping in or she would of been pissed that she woke up that early for no reason, and probably would beat the shit out of me.

And all this week her and Luke have been seemingly avoiding each other and then yesterday she was all close to him. I don't understand my sister at all. Or Luke as a matter of fact. "Your sister is confusing as fuck." James said what exactly I was thinking.

"I don't know man." We both got up and ready for school.

James and I got dropped off by my mum. The school was still kind of empty, James met up with Tyla and Bridget, I walked in and went to my locker. I heard giggles echo from empty hallway. As I went to turn the corner, I stopped myself.

I saw Luke and Lani hugging very tightly and comfortable looking. I knitted my eyebrows together, as they broke away, and they stood there talking. I put on a fake smile on and walked out. "Hey!" I hollered.

Luke and Lani jumped, startled, "What's up mate?" Luke composed himself, as we did our normal handshake.

"Nothing, today there was a pain up mine and James' ass this morning though." I smirked tauntingly over at my little sister.

She flipped me off, "I'm going to go find Mikki, bye guys." she waved and walked off. I caught Luke staring at her.

"Dude stop staring at my sister!" It was weird at how he was watching her. Luke adverted his eyes to the tiled floor. "What's up with you and her?"

Luke shrugged, "Nothing, why'd you ask?"

I shook my head, maybe nothing was up with them? Obviously, Luke would tell me if there was, he was one of my best mates. And he knows the rules with Leilani. "I don't know, you two just seemed mad at each other there for little this week."

Luke laughed, "Like you said she's a pain in the ass... at times." I laughed too, I guess he was right.  More and more kids starting walking the halls.

"Well, I'll see you at lunch!" I patted him on the back. Luke nodded, as I walked off to my first lesson.

Leilani's POV

"You seem way too happy right now." Mikki looked at me in disbelief, "Why?"

"I don't know, I just am. Maybe I got a full seven to eight hours of sleep, like I need? Also, I got my phone and stuff back." I half-lied. I felt a pang of guilt, but I just couldn't tell, not yet at least.

"And you didn't text me?!" She exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, they boys were at my house, watching the match! It was too noisy." Mikki just laughed.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, sorry accepted." she grinned.

"Helllooo ladies." Jai walked up to us with Tyla, Bridget, and James.

"Hey." Mikki and I waved. I gave Bridget a hug. I guess you could say her and I were friends, but we only hung out in school or James invited her and Tyla to hang with the boys.

"So I'm having a small get together, and wanted to know if you two wanted to come?" Bridget asked.

"I can't I have to babysit, sorry." Mikki stated.

I thought, Bridget's 'small' get togethers really meant the craziest parties where people from all over Melbourne showed up. That could give Luke and I alone time or the boys clinging together the whole time, and drunk guys make advances on me? "C'mon, just go Leilani,  first night of freedom, and it's Friday enjoy it!" Jai tried to persuade me.

Bridget pouted giving me a puppy dog face, "Please for me? You'll be the greatest..."

I sighed, and looked at Mikki, she gave me a 'do it' look, "Okay, I'll go." They all smiled.

Bridget hugged me again, before returning to the side of Tyla, "Yay! I'll see you all later then!" James, Tyla, and her left.

Jai laughed, "She really has to stop throwing small get togethers, the whole population of Melbourne ends up coming. And then her house gets trashed, and-"

Mikki and I laughed, " Then when Monday comes, she comes into school all pissed off that her parents caught her and she's grounded for like a month." we finished Jai. Same story, every time.

Jai grinned, "You two know it."

"Well, I'm going to class. See you guys." Mikki hugged Jai and I.

"Yup." I sighed. I looked at Jai, and he held out his arm, "First lesson already?"

He nodded, as I looped my arm with his, walking to class.
