I know it's a breach of privacy. I know I shouldn't do it but, I end up looking over Harleys shoulder and at his phone. He was playing a game Ive never seen before. Some kind of merging game it looks like. I didn't feel as bad looking over his shoulder as I thought I would have felt once I did it though.

It's the next day and Harley was back. After Riley said that Harley was looking at some cochlear implants I can't help but wonder what it would be like to talk to him for real and not just sign..

What am I thinking?! It wouldn't be any different. I haven't even talked to him that much. Why am I so worried about how it might be communicating with him like that ? I shake my head, popping another chip into my mouth.

It was the very very beginning of the day and just the two of us sat at the lunch table. I wondered where everyone else is right now. Did I miss a surprise practice or something. With that thought in mind I pull my phone from my back pocket. Right at I opened my messages with Gabe I feel a tap on my right shoulder.

It was Harley. "How did the game on Saturday?" Did he not read the group chat or something? We literally were talking about the game late last night.

I set my phone down and turn it over. "You didn't see the messages last night?

He shakes his head. "I never gave anyone my phone number." He then plays with his phone case, Popping a corner of his phone in and out.

I shake my head. That's NOLANS job to get new teammates information. I sigh, "I'll add you. Nolan is supposed to do this but it seems like he forgot." I pull out my phone and pass it to Harley so he can type in his number.

"He probably didn't do it because he can't talk to me. You know. I'm deaf." After Harley signed a response he grabs my phone and types in his number. He also adds a profile picture for good measures by pulling the hood over his platinum blond hair, he drops the camera to rest on the table and smiles putting up a small peace sign.

I didn't realize he was giving me back my phone until after the photo was taken, I shake my head aggressively and grab it from him with a little 'thanking' nod.

As soon as my phone was out of his hold he took up his own again and unpaused the game. I just watch him, I mean I have nothing else better to do. Harley still have his hood on, making him tuck down his head a little to see the screen better. Now I really wanted to know what game he is playing but I didn't want him to know that.

Harley then suddenly looks at me and I wonder if he can read my mind cause he looks at his phone then at me again and next thing he does is scoot closer to me. He tilts his phone down a little so I can see and I can't help but smile. He plays just like before but now I was looking over his shoulder with his knowledge.

I was never used to it being quiet because my friends are a very rowdy and loud bunch of guys. I'm not going to lie, I kind of like this comfortable silence right now. I never thought I would enjoy it this much.

After a bit, Harley ends up putting down his phone and reaching for his backpack to take out his water bottle. The blue tin bottle was decorated in stickers from all different games and even a few animes. They are all very bright and vivid in color and drawing style. I'm not surprised though Harley seems to like very bright things and he seemed relatively happy for a guy that struggles with not hearing people very well.

There is a hand waving in front of my face and I shake my head violently once again, pulled away from my daze. Once my eyes focus I see Harley was looking at me his head tilted slightly.

"You wondering about my water bottle?" Harley picked up his water bottle afterwards and hands it to me. I smile and take it into my hands. I can at least name where half of these stickers are from. I point out some and add a thumbs up each time to show my knowledge of the ones he has on here.
